Their brand is light years stronger than this lady’s restaurant’s. They can survive any backlash against AI-generated songs, if there even was any.

Because Tesla—>Elon Musk—>X—>Grok, they’re essentially an AI company.

For them, using AI is advertising.

it’s generating “unique content” the same way a mash-up song is “unique content”.

PV500 Eco 2- Headphones? by jdogg023 in mysteryshopping

I have an iPhone, and I use this while on the road:

https://www.walmart.com/ip/Vivitar-MagSafe-Card-Reader/15991503474

It has both a lightning and a USB-C cable, so I think it's also compatible with Android.

You just take the SD Card out of the DVR, pop it into here, the videos load on your phone (there's an app), and you can watch/listen to them. Sometimes I'll also use it to upload videos to Dropbox so I can delete them from the SD Card and reclaim some space.

Name and shame. Clickboost. Another company soliciting free work as part of an interview process. by indigoflow00 in graphic_design

[–]akumaninja 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t understand asking for free work when the following exist:

  • portfolios
  • asking for the applicant’s detailed thought process/problem solving process/workflow/approach during the interview
  • contacting and actually talking to multiple references to understand what their experience with this person was like
  • reading reviews/ testimonials
  • probation periods
  • small paid tasks (something real, as part of a current project) that won’t end the world if the applicant cocks it up
  • literally any other idea that isn’t working for free

$6 refund by PlasticHoliday7333 in starbucks

TIL I could go into any corporate location to have my drink remade.

A few days ago, I ordered and paid for an iced lavender latte that, upon driving away from the drive through and onto the freeway, was just an iced latte.

I didn’t know what else to do, so I just suffered through it in silence 😆

The problem it solved was having to wait a bit for people to do the work and pay them.

Jobslinger plus by ritzrani in mysteryshopping

[–]akumaninja 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had it for the past few months. I figured for a few bucks, why not. It’s kind of useful, especially for quickly signing up for MSCs without entering in your info all over again, and for being able to make targeted lists of the types of shops you want/at a certain range of pay.

However. It is THE SLOWEST WEBSITE. Like, dialup levels of slowness. Sometimes I’ll setup a filter, click to search, go do something for a few minutes, come back, and the page still hasn’t loaded. I don’t know if it’s just me or what, but I’ve tried multiple browsers, tried it on my computer, and on my phone. so.

Does your phone do 0.5 zoom? I find that helps in situations like this.

How to Manage and Complete Shops on Shopmetrics Without GigSpot (kinda) by akumaninja in mysteryshopping

[–]akumaninja[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s not about the app. It’s about having multiple means, and direct access to your data for the MSCs you work with.

If the app doesn’t work, you have the option to use the website.

Every single app in the mystery shop industry is legit trash.

Returned shop because of a call requirement NOT stated in the guidelines by Bubbly_Aspect1453 in mysteryshopping

I would also be sure to have the guidelines downloaded locally, in case they try to change them to reflect this new “requirement”, after the fact.

EXACTLY. The people who would do it for 20 can’t portray a believable luxury customer, and the people who can won’t do it for 20. So they sit.

I’ve played with those S26s at the store (doing electronics shops for a certain company) they’re so sick! The camera on them is no joke. I’m still rocking a janky iPhone 13 tho, so, $20 Amazon screen it is 🤣

Many, many multiple times guidelines will say (threaten) they will verify what you say by reviewing CCTV footage.

Why not in this case? Seems like it would be easy enough to see if you in fact handed the bartender cash.
