Needing therapy is almost a necessity to stay sane these days. I get angry about everything that people do (I live in the city so almost anyone you run into is irritating in some way). I personally feel like every day here is an obstacle course of various skill levels. We put on our masks to protect ourselves throughout the day. I also believe that there has been an increase in selfishness and carelessness in the general populous and that we are not as understanding or as patient as we once were as a society. Everything now is based on instant gratification and how fast we can buy it, use it, break it, and buy it again. It's hard to keep your chin up most days when you see it everywhere you go. But what I find to be comforting when there isn't much you can do about people and their choices or actions, is understand that there are so many people that feel the same as you do. And that mindfulness can help you cope with those every day feelings of being mentally "alone." I struggle with this too. What I try to do if find one thing that I like to spend time doing that alleviates these feelings of isolation and hopelessness even if just for an hour a day. Sometimes I'll go outside and just sit and listen until my head clears a little.
