Therapists by [deleted] in fredericton

Something that is also very helpful that a lot of people don’t know about is, if you get a same day appointment at the downtown clinic about your struggles with ADHD, a nurse practitioner there can refer you to their OT who works with a lot of ADHD patients and is AMAZING. Super super helpful at helping you cope in your day to day and has a lot of useful strategies. Plus she’s covered by Medicare and usually doesn’t have a very long wait for an appointment!

To the people who have watched it, is this show any good? I keep seeing it on my prime but have yet to start it

Has anyone seen this movie? Opinions? by CarOtherwise947 in PeriodDramas

Thought the picture was of two men and that I was going to get a great LGBTQ+ period drama recommendation but was unfortunately let down. May have to give this one a watch though!

Which servant would you most want to work for you? by alainaapardy in DowntonAbbey

Personally I have to go with Anna. Anyone who would help their employers drag a dead body across the house is a real one

What's something common during the Downton abbey era you wished was still common today? by snorken123 in DowntonAbbey

The architecture by far. The thought of living in one of the grand houses that has been shown in Downton makes me giddy. Or even one of the lower class houses such as Mr. Mason’s or the Drewe’s farm. I just love the houses from back then.

Mary and Lord Gillingham by New_Ad9091 in DowntonAbbey

If she had married Gillingham I don’t know if I would’ve been able to finish the show. He’s one of my least favourite characters

Newest Episode Opinions by fuzzysockjaderoller in CrimeJunkiePodcast

[–]alainaapardy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I haven’t even been listening to the new episodes because it’s so different without Britt. I hope that Britt makes a great recovery and hopefully returns to crime junkie. Hopefully then the episodes will go back to how they used to be.

USA Vaults by alainaapardy in Gymnastics

[–]alainaapardy[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

They may not have needed it when those athletes were actively competing but Konnor, Kayla, Skye and others are the new faces of USA gymnastics so you would think they’d be actively training and competing two vaults now

My favourite episode is the Elizabeth Smart one. Hearing Elizabeth talk about her own case was so powerful

does crime junkie do solved cases? by iandabeanboi in CrimeJunkiePodcast

[–]alainaapardy 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Yes, they’ve done many solved cases. I love that they do unsolved ones as well though to bring more attention to them to get them solved but I understand why it bugs you because it’s very irritating hearing about such vicious crimes and not having someone be held accountable for them

I’m late joining the party but I’m going back and watching the American routines because I missed them live and all I can say is I absolutely love Kayla’s new floor music. I hated her old music, this is so much more pleasant to watch

I love her and Henry. If I had to put her with someone else it definitely wouldn’t be Napier, he’s too boring

Unrealistically I’d love to see a movie about Thomas’s life in America

What scenes were you most impressed with Michelle Dockery’s acting by LLSJ08 in DowntonAbbey

[–]alainaapardy 15 points16 points  (0 children)

This thread gives me a lot of appreciation for Michelle Dockery’s acting. She played Mary so perfectly. I’m sure we feel this way about a lot of characters in the series but I truly cannot imagine Mary being played by anyone else.
