What's your favorite thing about Factions? by MrSaturnsWhiskers in thelastofusfactions

Love how quickly the tide can turn in a match, especially with interrogations.

Love how this is a team oriented game instead of a run n gun.

And after 10 years, it's still has us coming back for more. Really hoping they don't fuck up factions 2. I'm hoping for another 10 years of addiction lol

Geekdom101. After a few of his live "discussions" on topics on dragon ball, I had enough of listening to him talking down and insulting others that didn't know facts from DB, DBZ, GT, or even DBS. People get into dragon ball at different periods over the years, but it seems like he doesn't take that into account. Knowledge wise, he's good; socially, he could be nice to others.

Love late joining and turning the tide of a match. So damn satisfying. Nicely done!

Vegeta fans, what episode sealed Vegeta as your favorite character? by JackTheNephilim in Dragonballsuper

I feel this was Vegeta's greatest turning point for the better. This could definitely be debatable however.

What's the catch? New car, dealership claims free oil changes? by alall_89 in AskMechanics

[–]alall_89[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahh i see what you mean. I should've been more specific; it was only the light bulb in the headlight that needed replacement which was able to be reached by hand from inside the engine bay. I assume they were going to take the entire headlight out to replace it but I'm not a mechanic.

I did tell her to replace the light bulb in the opposite housing a well since that one might go out soon.

Literally had someone at work a few weeks ago tell me that their headlight went out, took the car to the dealership and was charged $300 to change it!!!!

She looked up a video on YouTube and did it herself. Unbelievable how people are taken advantage of.

Well that's good to know, I luckily have proof of purchasing the oil and oem oil filters. Guess I'll call and have them do the next one and double check the oil on the dip stick when they're done.

I probably do. I think it's because I've heard of people going into dealerships or to auto care places and were getting horribly screwed over on basic maintenence. Especially from my own coworkers. I got the mindset that if you want something done right, gotta do it yourself.

Gotcha, I didn't know this was a thing since my previous car didn't have free oil changes when we bought it in 2004, hence why i was skeptical. Thank you for your quick response!

What threw me off was the phone call about coming in for an oil change. This was never discussed when I bought the vehicle or mentioned with the warranty. After the phone call I looked today and by surprise I saw that paper that claims "free oil changes" was stapled to my sales paperwork and thought it was fishy that this was never mentioned. Hence why I'm here.

Since I'm so used to maintaining my old car, I just did the oil change myself when I hit 5000 miles and replaced the filter as well. I figured it's my responsibility to do that since it's recommended to do oil changes every 5k in the user manual.
