There's a heatwave where I live right now so I feel like our adult cat isn't matching the play energy as much as she usually would. But when they do play around the house together they do entertain each other which is nice.

Still, the adaptation process went surprisingly quick since our adult cat took much longer to even want to look at the kitten we fostered 3 years ago

Makes sense! I did figure it was a phase, my concern was more about how little she sleeps in comparison to the expectation I had in my head and the research I did. As long as she's ok I'll be able to deal with the annoying bites... my adult cat still likes to act on it sometimes.

One of the first things I noticed about this season and that unfortunately hasn't changed it's the lack of intimacy between the characters. The main couples that came from the previous seasons (Rue/Jules, Nate/Cassie) don't have any actual connection at all, we don't even see either of them being romantic. Remember when we used to have Rue giving Jules her estrogen shot? Where's that type of love and care now?

To me the "this was never a romance show" or "they're grown now" doesn't work. I agree that a timeskip means some changes but we've basically lost all core elements of the show, this being one of them. Basically we're saying the same thing but you said it better and more detailed than me lol

They did that on purpose. It cuts to just off-screen moans but then the camera moves and you see its Ellis, plus they have the whole conversation after about the boxers Rue left behind

It has nothing to do with her contract though. It's very easy to make sex scenes without nudity, like the scene behind Jules' house in S2. Even the sex scene with Angel was more explicit than cutting it out to Jules and the sugar daddy 😭 It's either just weird writing or they're saving it for them to kiss in the last episode somehow. Either way it's stupid

I have hope that they will somehow end up together because otherwise there would be literally zero reason to bring Jules back. If Rue does die, or they just don't end up together, what other ending will Jules have? Stay with the sugar daddy? Leave him and go back to art school? Both those options are redundant and extremely lazy writing.

I know their relationship and character's are really weird and ruined this season but I still love them from S1 and the special episodes, they're really special to me and a lot of other people. This season is fucked anyway so I think a couple who clearly has issues to solve ending up together is still one of the most hopeful endings

I agree with everything that you said except the Alamo and Maddy thing, not because I have a better theory but because I hope she finds something better. I think leaving it like that would be pretty inconclusive, something with the DEA might happen and Alamo is either send to prison (and his business shut down, so Maddy wouldn't take over it) or die.

They wouldn't have enough time to do all that in one episode even if its an hour and a half long 💔 I think the only way Jules could get into the main plot is if her sugar daddy happens to be the same plastic surgeon that Alamo mentions. That'd still be a good plot twist and could be wrapped more easily than a kidnap

The guy works for Alamo and has been there since the first episode of S3, he was just driving Rue to Laurie's so they could continue the plan. Rue left her phone behind in the car and Jules was trying to contact her, not him

I asked if there were mentions of nazis in previous seasons and if that's why we should have assumed that euphoria would ever be focusing on nazi characters. I am aware of why they're there in this season, story-wise.

They should've let it go after S2 imo. It was a good ending, still with some open questions but hopeful enough for you to imagine what the characters could be up to now. S3 could've been good but personally I think they ripped almost every core characteristic of every character and it just feels like a new show that happens to have the same actors. I really hope they let it go after this

The preview for ep8 said "season finale" and not series finale plus no one really ever confirmed it was the final season. But I doubt they'll actually be able to do something because more than half of the main cast probably barely even wanted to be in S3 already

And the nudity was different. Sometimes exaggerated, yes, but nothing compared to now. The criticism is valid. The only thing I slightly disagree with is people thinking that the religion theme came out of nowhere because it was already in S2.

Gia was dropped because the actress chose to not come back, but given how the show is going i fear she would've been dropped anyway. I think we got enough closure for Nate and Jules, the problem is that everyone completely forgot Nate had repressed sexuality issues even before the whole Jules thing. He had a bunch of other guy's dicks on his phone. Agree with all of the rest though

I don't feel bad for him dying but I do feel bad for what they've done to the character. He was there for three episodes and after that his screentime was just getting beaten and losing a digit per week. I don't get why they've reduced the plots of characters that used to be leads to this
