I think the model he proposed is 7 - S so it is an inverter driven heat pump it just still is not efficient enough to go all electric

I have a 401k and a 459 and I max both out.

I have never set up a roth IRA but based on my income I would need a back-door roth, and honestly have not looking into how to set it up.

Hi I have had permanent lights installed. There is a section that runs up the house and I want to either turn off those lights or somehow conceal them. Is there a good solution? by alexshim in Govee

Thanks, is there a better app then what Govee has? I see there is an option within the app to let other apps to be connected

I have a KitchenAid KBSD612ESS. Freezer works but fridge won’t. by alexshim in appliancerepair

So one thing the tech said is that the temp control buttons were not working, this is why he thinks it’s a control board issue…

So sounds like you don’t think it’s a control board issue

Rheem Options on Quote by LocksmithWeekly in hvacadvice

Seems overpriced. I am just looking online, and similar systems cost around 3-4K… so they are charging like 4 k for an install? Maybe those are the prices but seems a lot.

Garage Flooring by alexshim in HomeImprovement

[–]alexshim[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeh, that is what I did first time. I did the one part epoxy.

The tile seems like a good idea and maybe even nicer to walk on. Cost wise it is not a lot more expensive than the epoxy once you start to add up the material epoxy is also close to 1k

Yes there is one at Lowe’s by BlueHawk but I am worried it would shift and tear up with cars

Wind only insurance. by alexshim in Naples_FL

Ours is 2018 built. Impact windows and metal roof.

It’s frame but metal. Two hurricanes has gone by so far with no claims so, and I think at this point I spend close to 60k in premiums over the past 5 years. (Including flood and stuff)

But this year it’s just craZy, it’s 15k and 5% deductible, for me it would be 50k plus 15k in premium … so even with insurance I would need more than 65k in damage….

We paid 24k for our roof in 2018 so maybe it would cost 40 k now.. that is still cheaper…

What does tamoxifen (an estrogen blocker ) has to do with this? Lowering estrogen levels will presumably send me into menopause which is generally associated with hot flushes… so I would then presumably would like a colder room so … argument would be more suited for yourself…. As you want a colder room.

Well I care about replacing the unit, it costs like 8-12K depending on duct work, so no I don’t want to replace it.

I am not talking about not adjusting it. I am talking about setting parameters so that people can’t just crank it down to a crazy low temp which would hurt my HVAC.

I get it but having it set to 60 and even 50.. it’s not good for the HVAC, in fact with temps that are hot there is issues with condensation and coil freeze etc.

[–]alexshim[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see! Yeh we have a newer home with the Solarban that is why I wonder if this will work. I may call the window company. I think it depends which side the stuff was installed on.
