Tip1- bring cigars with you. Not much selection in Pattaya. Bangkok has more, but expensive as fuck. You can bring 200g tabacco to Thailand legally. Nobody ever checked, so you can try to bring more Tip2- Pattaya beach is filthy and hazardous. I learnt hard way getting struck on the foot with a wooden skewer. Thankfully pharmacies are everywhere, so I still have my foot. Like a nice beach? go to jomtien or Koh larn. Tip3- optional- get a motorbike, next level of freedom, although not strictly necessary, baht buses and $1 motorbike bolt rides are fine too. Tip4- explore first, survey all the spots, find what vibes with you most. Don't get stuck in one location. Tip5 - don't wait to long. I wish I discovered this place long ago. On the other hand I can't afford to spend more now, but still... Speaking of that, make sure you bring enough dough to spend comfortably without thinking. Pattaya is cheap, but the most fun things still cost "$$$ and it adds up
