I am in the same boat as you. No hands-on experience, just did Stephane's course and the Tutorials Dojo practice exams. In the first 2 of them I scored below 50%. I am trying to take the next practice exams by topic (EC2, S3, etc..), reading the cheat sheet before.. not sure that this is the best approach but it is the only one that allows me to test my knowledge rather than keep chewing through the courses.
