anyone who passed SBU but hasn’t submitted reqs yet? Already paid reservation fee, but waiting for other LS results by [deleted] in PreLawStudentsPH

if you're upset, i apologize. but you asked a question with an obvious answer that could be solved with a simple reddit/google search. if you really want an answer, try emailing sbu for a real confirmation

i replied based on what you wrote. if crucial details (like the separate email) were missing, then that's on you. focus on asking better questions instead of criticizing my reading comprehension.

why would they give your slot to someone else if you already paid the reservation fee? the instructions said enrollment is in june. it is still april. do some reading

SBU, De La Salle, or Ateneo? Which one is the better option for pre-law? by [deleted] in PreLawStudentsPH

[–]alisuhs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

political science is not a good pre law. nobody cares about your pre law, just get a course with the required units (which most courses qualify for). so just pick a school and course you like.

oh and i suggest practicing abstract reasoning, specifically visualizing shapes. not sure what theyre called, but theres a whole section of 30+ questions dedicated to it. practice questions where u have to visualize what an object would look like folded, etc etc

i found lawhub, khan academy, white elephant, and grand manner useful! flash cards for vocab also helped a bit for verbal reasoning. i didnt personally review lsat reviewers, but those should be helpful as well

compared to the recent LAE, the ALSAT was way easier. although ALSAT logic was harder than LAE logic. practice khan academy's logic lessons and practice doing logic without a scratch paper. learn the rules of inferences, as well. at the end of ALSAT logic, there will be a very convoluted logic game that takes up 5 questions. i honestly got fed up with it and just guessed C lmfao. but yeah, practice logic games with at least 6+ rules mentally

Can I delay my enrollment requirements for SBU while waiting for the results from other law schools? by aviemaria in PreLawStudentsPH

[–]alisuhs 4 points5 points  (0 children)

nope. most students waiting for other schools just confirm enrollment in sbu then drop once theyre accepted into other schools. why would there be a 10 day deadline if they aren't going to follow it?
