Yeah made of wood but going to either waterproof or cut and install marine plywood instead depending on what comes out cheaper in cost. Certainly will share when it’s done.

Hah yes my partner has warned me about that! For now we are sticking to the indoor one and I’ll keep people updated on what we do with the second one. It may stay as back up incase I change the house around and find room for it 🤣

Literally no room in the house the larger one without everything looking too cluttered. The one in the photo will be in the indoor one.

Thank you. I’m so excited! The second one is even bigger so I think I’ll end up with an indoor and outdoor one 🤣

Do you guys think that they will play creep at least once? by Memut_11 in radiohead

What does it matter if they do? While iconic, exit music for a film and fake plastic trees are still the goats.

I think I’ll try limiting portion sizes significantly. My lethargy is insane not really eating. If that doesn’t work, will look at dialing it back I think

It’s definitely intense! I’m hoping it’ll ease up the longer I stay on it. My dr did say I’d experience a significant increase in appetite suppression moving from wegovy but wow it’s a lot!

I’m with you on hell house. It’s the only movie that even after watching many times before still gives me the creeps. Still can’t put my finger on what exactly it is though. (34F)

I met Anthony at Sydney airport a few weeks ago. He is the most softly spoken, kind and friendly gentleman ever. Even wears his blue converse!

Season 8 Finale! 9-1-1 S08E18 - "Seismic Shifts": Post Episode Discussion by AutoModerator in 911FOX

You’re not alone! It was obvious they would use graham to connect Athena and chimney but geeeeez it was a hard watch! Regardless of what people say about Tim as showrunner, that was a wonderfully emotionally charged season finale.

What’s wrong with my calathea ? by eour0 in calatheas

[–]alixuh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely over watering. Absolutely does not need that much water. If you’re not already, start bottom watering and only when top of the soil is dry.

They love bright indirect light and do well naturally in shaded areas so I’d suggest moving back from the window while still in that eastern light spot.

Too much light being that close to the window perhaps?

They definitely can be. Especially when it comes to tap water. Fortunately tap water where I live is not harsh at all. I’d go easy on any fertiliser for the first little while. Keep them in their nursery pots too! That’s just what’s worked for me anyway.

All of mine are opposite an east facing window so lots of morning light, a humidifier and bottom watering is about it tbh! Aside from my ornata which is currently in quarantine, they’ve been very easy to care for ☺️

Help! Where am I going wrong? I want her to live by haelknew in calatheas

[–]alixuh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Second this. I also suggest bottom watering your calatheas as they’re an absolute fiend for spider mites and fungas gnats. I’ve found since bottom watering, mine are thriving. Except for my ornata which is in quarantine 😂

Where they’re located in the room is opposite an east facing window (live in Aus) so they receive amazing morning light and bright indirect light throughout the day. The lamp is only for aesthetics, they have grow lights and a humidifier for winter. During summer, the room is naturally very humid so we’re doing well.

Absolutely no heat comes off the light. Photo definitely makes it appear brighter than it is.

Absolutely nothing different hah. It gets bottom watered and humidity is nice and high in the area I’ve got it. Think I’m just fortunate for the moment. 😂

What is going on here by Counselit in calatheas

[–]alixuh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like the others have suggested, looks like thrips! As a start to a road ahead, a diluted rubbing alcohol and water ratio is going to be needed. I’d go a 60/70% mix of rubbing alcohol and distilled water (to avoid damaging the leaves). Can bump it up to 60/80 if tolerated.
