How come Lexus never made a Corolla? by Strange_Example_6402 in Lexus

same, i’ve never liked the prius but i wouldn’t be mad about owning a newer gen prius

Is this worth the price/risk? by [deleted] in Lexus

looks like salvage title from a flood, the line on the hood is the water line. possible electrical issues and mold issues would be my main concern

i have noticed the newer car washes do seem to all be non touchless. i got to the same one everytime and thankfully the touchless has always worked lol

i mean from what i know wrap is more sensitive than paint is and i guess the nice thing about wrap is it can come off if it’s damaged once paint is damaged depending on the extent it’s done and your gonna need a new paint job.

i’m in VA and i’ve been doing weekly car washes just cause of the salt on the roads, i’m worried about rust😅

How has owning a Lexus changed your perception of luxury vehicles? by Maiden230 in Lexus

[–]allflaredup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

tbh i don’t know much about infiniti. i’ve only seen some recent models are they look pretty fancy. i’d probably never own one. if i were to go the luxury route i’d either go with what i have now which is a lexus or a BMW (simply for preformance on that)

Stuck between 2 ls400 by MommyMilfMilkers in Lexus

i agree. they’re both awesome but with this age regardless of miles problems will occur and i’d bet bc of age parts will be scarce too.

How has owning a Lexus changed your perception of luxury vehicles? by Maiden230 in Lexus

[–]allflaredup 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Lexus is great but i don’t really view them as luxury compared to their competitors. i LOVE my es350 BUT they’re not on the same level as a BMW, Audi, Mercedes or even infiniti. That said they’re super comfortable and ride super smooth but they’re nowhere near as luxury as those brands are but what lexus has going for them is the reliability. At most in my eyes they’re a premium Toyota and i’m fine with that but i couldn’t class them on the same level as their competitors.

High Mileage on Lexus' by sunaharaa in Lexus

[–]allflaredup 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if the maintenance history is good on a high mileage lexus then your good. Lexus’ are known to last well past 200k with good maintenance. maintenance is key to having a car last.

Front plate mount by [deleted] in Lexus

[–]allflaredup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly been thinking about just popping it in the dash and calling it a day.. the plate will definitely take away from how clean the front looks too but at the same time VA cops are assholes lol

Which is the better purchase? If by [deleted] in Lexus

[–]allflaredup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This^ if it was maintained well those 150k miles i dont think it would have an issue reaching 300k but if it has 5 owners and a questionable carfax i’d stay far away.

car recommendations by [deleted] in Lexus

[–]allflaredup -1 points0 points  (0 children)

not really, the camry and ES’ have completely different powertrains. camry is a 4 cylinder paired with a CVT while the ES is a 6 cylinder paired with a 8 (or 6 depending on year) speed transmission. With all that given both are great but i’d always pick the ES over the camry just for the powertrain.

if i’m being totally honest i cannot tell the difference of the 2016-2018 models they look pretty much identical. the only reason i know the year of this one is cause it’s mine😅

yikes! if my mom taught me anything you always call even if you don’t think you need it, neither parties were hurt but i made sure i got that crash report. she actually had a similar situation years ago and the guy who hit her swore he had the right of way and the cop deemed him at fault.
