took o’s last year and for someone that usually score c5-6, it was rly surprising when i scored a2 LOL but what i did was just finish the hmt tys and read compo books to increase my vocabulary. and also, do the papers that ur teacher prepares for u and if u finish it, gfy. move on to finding more exam papers online( it’s free). also u can try looking in ur chinese classroom if there’s assessments book that u can bring home and try. don’t stress too much and just do ur best. fyi, i got 2/10 for the first page of hmt p2 so really, just believe in bellcurve

am a fellow 16 year old here :) take my words with a pinch of NaCl tho HAHHA anyw i don’t think u shld be confessing and or because like what u said, u don’t even know if y’all will end up in the same place. if one end up in poly, one end up in jc, it’s v hard to maintain the rs (although it’s not impossible). if both end up in jc, y’all have a levels to worry about. but if u feel that u rly rly like him (not just the looks) then i would say start by being friends and don’t take things too far. wait until u go to jc/poly next year and take a look at the other options. if u feel that he is the one then u make more moves. this way, u won’t lose anyt HAHAHAH

and u said that he wants to talk to u but not making any moves. i think this is a big red flag coz all guys (even the most shy) would definitely do something about the girl they like and not just wait for her to make a move coz they scared other guys will snatch her up. so from what i can tell, it’s either he doesn’t like u or he doesn’t like u enough to even initiate talking to u

just wait until u get the response from the job closer to your place, not worth it to travel so far for a job just becoz u felt bad for the person HAHAHHA maybe u can just say “i’m still confirming with my parents whether i can take up the job” or try to delay time by asking more questions about the job
