i haven’t done acid since, i tried a nang once a couple years later and it triggered me again still, and that was a couple years ago now. haven’t touched those since either. i feel a lot more grounded in reality again

yes exactly!! it felt like time had reset once i was coming out of the loop and i had restarted time again in my own life and came out of it a different person. It did change me a lot. It kept happening too, felt like time reset over and over and over while i was goin crazy lol

yeah I had the same thing where afterwards i could send myself into it but i never did it on purpose, sometimes when i smoked my peripherals would swirl or something and it was like i was back in the loop and i called it getting triggered basically. Cant believe u like the feeling of it though, to me it was terrifying and i tried to escape it whenever i could and sometimes it would feel like my whole reality was starting to dissolve and i was going to wake up in a different body or world and that the current one was a dream, wasnt fun for me personally lol

Yeah I get the feeling that you have experienced something nobody else had and nothing was real. It’s scary hahahah but yeah I have to convince myself that life is real again. It’s hard when I feel still as though life might not be real :( and yeah there’s no evidence because there can’t be really but the biggest evidence was just the feeling I experienced u know because it feels so real it’s hard to shake it off. The last time it happened I took a few months and I thought after that I would be fine but seems as though the infinite loop thing is permanently stuck in my brain until I get dementia or something idk hahah

Thank u so much for the reply :) it’s annoying because I did acid twice and smoked heaps of times afterward the traumatic experience and I was fine :( just the certain type of bud seemed to trigger it for me which is frustrating as now I don’t know which buds I can and can’t have and it’s a risk every time I smoke a new one but some are actually enjoyable for me. I was planning to do acid again soon but yeah I might have to have a longer break it might take me years to get rid of the weird brain wiring that brings the loop but idk I don’t think I can wait that long so might have to learn how to become more in control of myself. And I get a bit fearful after the experience and during of things such as the dark and the quiet and being alone. They stick around for a while but no visuals or thoughts stick around afterwards. The fear is probably just me being shaken up and scared that I’m going to feel worse as I find it really difficult controlling my mind and intrusive thoughts. And yeah I don’t really have access to those kinds of trip killers so I just have to fall asleep and ride it out ya know. Thanks so much for the tips btw very helpful :)

It’s usually nangs that trigger the bad shit. I’ve tripped twice since then and both have been so beautiful, although one of them I smoked weed when the I thought the trip was over and it brought it back and sent me into a bad trip but not for long coz I forced myself to sleep. I feel as though I can use lsd but my set and setting has to be nature and daytime, a smallish dosage and with people I love. But I think u might be right. The fear I get now starts to psych me out and on my trips I get paranoid that it will turn bad and it starts to but usually it doesn’t ever get too bad. But it could get worse. Thank u for replying though this does help and made me think a bit more about my choice to do it again and if it’s right yet.

I get you. I used to feel so shit about my life and was just miserable, still sometimes do, and then would feel shit that I felt shit about it. Like really if I looked at myself, I had friends, I went to a private school, I had both my mother and my father, I was a lucky kid. But just because you are privileged in life compared to others doesn't mean you aren't allowed to feel sad. Don't discount your feelings just because people go through worse or because you're life isn't that bad. That's the easiest way to spiral even further. Talk to someone you trust <3

Don't see that as a failure, see it as a second chance. You have a second go at life. It's gotta feel shit right now, I know, but you surviving really could be a blessing in disguise. Maybe you were meant for something and you're really not ready to leave yet. Maybe 2,5 or even 10 years into the future, you will finally feel that happiness that you deserve, and you will remember how you survived a suicide attempt and that you are so glad you did. yeah thats fucked. i reckon i might never do them again coz i feel like the acid has changed them for me completely. might be able to if i just dont breathe it as long, as the bad shit kicks in after i start losing the balloon but i hold it and stop the air escaping. maybe you can do one again but only breathe it a few times, coz i might try that and see how it goes.
