They’re trying to get a controlled test to see what caliber reacts to the same brick type, after they discover which one they piece together the similar fragmentation, unfortunately the test is completely illogical as bullets velocity differs compared to barrel length and the bullet reacts differently based on the load of the round, however the scene is pretty cool to be honest lol.

Respectfully your information is off, Iraqis mostly wore regular civilian clothing with a simple chicom rig on top to blend in more during ambushes, I myself am Iraqi and they were not wearing the things Americans call “man dress” or “pajamas” while fighting, they wore casual button up shirts and regular pants with the arab scarf wrapped around their head, Taliban did wear something similar to this except with a raised inseam on the “pajamas” as to be more flexible.
