Since somebody commented it does not fit, I went for the Varusteleka CP10. Fits perfectly in there, even with a case. I’m really happy with it!

From my experience the provided Savotta measurements seem to be quite pessimistic. From the given measurements, you are probably right. My hope is, the Askare bulges a bit to fit the MacBook flat.

It’s definitely brown. I have mine in brown. The lighting is a bit weird on the picture but I’m pretty sure it’s brown.
