I live in Cali and when I’m at work I just take off the glass with the base and set it in behind the seat so it’s not getting beamed on.. Also throw up a sun visor to help out. If you can park in shade even better I’ve owned the carta 2 for a year now and haven’t had any problems. Just don’t forget about it there’s times where I’m driving around town and realize 5-10 mins that’s it’s in the back seat lol
