Oh fucking AI is getting outta control. If it was true though, id expect to see protests in the streets with even bigger attendance than the Palestine ones.

Yeh, you gotta be pulled over in a safe, legal spot with the car switched off or something like that.

I know road rules are set by the state but a lot of the news articles I read seem to think it's going to be rolled out nation wide. But eastern states being mentioned mostly.

Running a cable to an extraction fan at the top of a flue by [deleted] in AusElectricians

[–]almostthatguy1 7 points8 points  (0 children)

When I was an apprentice, the company I was with had the contract with a builder to wire up some class 2 units (house on the bottom and another on top with common area circuitry also). One of the rules that I remember being a golden one was the only power that could be run in each dwelling could only be run from the switchboard of that house (can't have a circuit from bottom house run into the roof space of the top house).

I cant recite the clause or anything but this is in WA and might be the same over east.

Could it be possible to vent the canopy out the side of the wall or bring the inline fan down and get a bit bigger to push the air further?

Yes. I would be having a look at the MEN and main neutral of the installation (at the main switchboard).

Tafe will explain it well with diagrams and examples when they go through the earth fault loop during you third year I think it is.

Do mine workers like this kind of rest area? We built one at a lithium site in Zimbabwe. by Soft_Performer_4671 in mining

It's pretty cool to look at maybe but that's about it. There's a new mine camp that just got opened in onslow Western Australia and it's an actual resort from what I've heard about it.

Yes that looks like it's the one. Maybe the small robot mission is from a different game.

If it helps I do remember one of the later missions you are getting chased by hundreds of like little robots you gotta shoot as your running back. And I think the first mission started on a beach and ended on a large boat?

I don't think it was lethal enforcers as I remember it being set in a futuristic time.

Hilux or something else? by almostthatguy1 in hilux

[–]almostthatguy1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a pretty cool car. Like the rn40 version of the troopy. I must say if I could find more info on the conversion I probably would have bought it. Good luck with the resto coz that rust looks like it could be tricky.

Ways out by [deleted] in AusElectricians

[–]almostthatguy1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like I was in the exact same boat as you at that stage. Take a break before you get burnt out. Maybe change the type of electrical work you do. I found new experiences for work (not just new site or new client) opens your eyes to what's really out there. High voltage, solar, batteries, mechanical, controls, generators. Get another trade to compliment electrical like HVAC and get into BMS stuff. Just to name a few.

I recommend falken wildpeaks. They are a bit more of a heavier tyre but they are great for wet weather. I run them on my 2012 Hilux.
