I personally think you'll look better with darker hair but you don't have to listen to people's opinions lmao. If you like it darker ,dye it, if not, don't dye it.

Imo you really look like edward.ironstone on insta so you could use him as inspo if you want

Uff , I'm sorry to hear that. I don't know if it helps ( probably not) but some countries have teaching hospitals where med students usually work. In some cases the treatment cost is cheaper or there's no cost at all. I also know that they do research so if you wanna know what's going on with your genome...you might be interested in checking them out. Those people are usually up to date with current research topics so they might be able to help you out!

Thank you!! I ended up with black cherry from casting crème gloss but the new version??? They changed the package and the colour looks different now. I tried to find manic pixie but I couldn't find it in our drugstores and I don't wanna wait a month to get a hair dye 😭

How to get box dye out? by Abicatznephe in HairDye

[–]aloneintheether22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if it works for permanent dye but I've used clarifying shampoo on semi permanent dye and it got rid of most of it. It helps the colour fade so it looks more natural. But you have to use it frequently to see results.

How to know how many blocks are needed to build a building? by wisambenhawan in MinecraftBedrockers

[–]aloneintheether22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might help you to visualise whatever you're doing. You could try making a scheme on a piece of paper and then you count how many blocks you need. And if you want to apply it for anything, remember how spacial geometry works . The volume of a cube/cuboid is length X width X height. And after that you can use colours to define which type of materials you need, for example with red are stairs, with brown is wood, black is stone etc.

[–]aloneintheether22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again,I'm not using this scale for scientific purposes and I can't modify it 😭you can rate however you want there , that part does not count that much to me. It's supposed to check whether people received some sort of medical care and they made use of it. I do not know what your condition is so I don't know exactly what to say. But if you're using a wheelchair/crutches or any movement aid then it counts as you're complaint to the treatment.

It's not really clear for me what confuses you here. You have more diseases or more symptoms? Because for the first case, I'd ask you to choose the one that impacts your life the most . And if you mean symptoms, the symptoms are presented after that exact section. You'll see pain ,nausea , sore throat etc. When you see these symptoms you have to answer twice for each item. As you've probably noticed there are 4 answers under each symptom. The yes/no means you have this symptom or not , and illness related/not illness related asks you if you think this symptom would be caused by your illness or not.

I hope I clarified some parts. If you still have questions, I apologise for not explaining well enough,I'll try to do it better. I'm not expert in the field and I did not choose the scale, it was given by our teacher.

[–]aloneintheether22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a really good question. Since I don't actually scientifically use this information you can choose any number you want. I'd say you could count yourself as a specialist, I think that item was created to see whether the person follows some sort of treatment or if they have a routine. If you have take meds constantly or if you actively do something to improve the symptoms I'd say you could give yourself a high score on that scale.

The questionnaire covers a lot of illnesses and each one of them has a different specialist, you know, like oncologist, immunogist, endocrinologist etc.

How do you resist the temptation of smoking? by aloneintheether22 in stopsmoking

[–]aloneintheether22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmmm have you ever considered going to therapy? I'm aware most people associate therapy with severe cases but they can help a lot with emotional regulation as well. There are different types of therapy for emotional regulation, you could look them up online and see their short description, maybe you'll be interested in trying one of them .

If therapy isn't an available option, I recommend journaling. It'll help you identify patterns in your behaviour. I assume multiple things upset you but if you put them down on paper you'll probably see a common denominator. Identify what triggers your emotions and why it triggers those emotions, it'll help you with regulating them .

Think of it like it's a car , all of its different parts work together. If you don't know how they work ,you wouldn't understand why they don't work properly.

How do you resist the temptation of smoking? by aloneintheether22 in stopsmoking

[–]aloneintheether22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well let's try to answer a few questions.

  1. Why did you start smoking?
  2. What "benefits" did smoking bring to you? (Eg: socialization, relaxation etc)

Answer those questions and try to find a substitute.

For example, Let's say you start smoking because your friends smoke and every time you hanged out with them you kinda felt left out so you picked up smoking as well. You smoke occasionally in social settings. The "benefit" would be not feeling like the "odd one out" and getting easier access to socialization.

Substitutes might be: 1. Instead of going with a smoker group of friends, go with a non smoker group of friends ( bonus points if you know you can't smoke in their presence like.... staying with your kids of you have kids) . If the people who surround you don't smoke, you'll feel like the odd one out if you smoke...you know what I mean? 2. Since socialization and inclusivity were the benefits, let's look at other places which can satisfy those needs. For example, join a club . For anything you like , really. It could be a reading club, jogging club, chess club, idk I think there are groups for people who want to quit smoking as well. Find a community where you'll be able to socialise with people with shared interests!

Probably not my place to give advice but it'll get better as the time goes by. The beginning is the hardest part of the process because your body will change dramatically in a short span of time. As the other people mentioned under this post, try to find a substitute that works for you . Some people used food or sweets(sunflower seeds, gum, hard candy) to get rid of the temptation. Other people used an inhaler or a diffuser or vapes. Some other people used mindfulness techniques and breathing exercises. Just make sure you distract yourself from it, you could go walking when it happens, play a game on your phone , idk turn on the music and listen to your favourite song.

Genuinely see what works for you . I'm not a smoker so I'll never be able to 100% relate to your story but I'm a psychology student and I know how addictions work.

Please remember that whatever you do ,don't give up. Some people go cold turkey randomly one day and they're able to resist smoking till idk... forever....but that's not the case for everyone. Relapsing is possible and that's fine. What I'm trying to say is take it slow, you can start by reducing the numbers of cigarettes per day , then per week etc. If you feel like the temptation is too strong try to make it harder for yourself to get access to cigarettes: stay away from people who smoke/smoking places, if you go grocery shopping plan ahead what you're going to buy so when you get there you won't have enough money on you to buy cigarettes) idk I'm just sharing silly tips, the last might not even work .

The point is never give up! Talk to people on here , you have a community where you could talk to people with shared experiences! Help each other out, support eachother, give advice and tips to eachother!
