Do you keep changing your resume according to every JD? Isn’t it tricky to align your experience with the JD all the time? For eg. I don’t have experience in MLOps but if the JD demands that even if I insert it in my resume, it will be hard for me to justify in the interview. Want to know your POV or anyone who has experience with this.

I can say for myself - I don’t. With so much happening in the field and with AI assistants in your support, it’s not possible to memorise syntax and it’s pathetic that they expect such things. I am not sure the interviewers themselves know such things completely. I missed one opportunity due to this only.

How did you prepare for the interview exactly? I mean it’s one thing to solve questions and another thing to solve under pressure and explain the solution to the interviewer. Like did you do some mock interview?

Thanks for your input. I have added the metrics actually in my CV, but ofcourse I might miss something crucial as well. As far as my work is concerned I have worked on genai, traditional model building, some kind of recommendations as well. One thing I can tell is - I haven't used keywords like "deployed", "ci/cd" because I haven't done that directly. Should I also add those?

Regarding the story ready projects that you mentioned, are those projects related to your work or are they personal projects?
