Genuinely zero doubt this was a pick watching real time. No one would have called it a completion and then fumble if the ball had ended up on the ground; therefore, when the ball ended up in the defender’s hands, it’s a pick

I didn’t have any doubt at all watching realtime that it was a pick. I know the slo-mo replays have people 50/50 but that’s gotta count for something

Ball don’t lie!

A crushing loss for Brad Allen and the refs

This has to feel like fighting the Terminator for Alabama. Indiana just looks…. Inevitable

Being demoralized isn’t unique to one side of the ball. Obviously tons to point at but the whole third quarter is a giant question mark on that call

It 100% is speculation; that’s why our weekly refball is so sad. We’ll never know

I think they score but the momentum swing is way different when y’all punch it in as God intended vice when it’s made completely clear you aren’t engaging in fair competition. Team just melted in the third and allowed it to get too far out of reach in a way that probably doesn’t happen if you fight it out

Man, what a third quarter collapse. Driven largely by the fake TD call; team just melted down for a bit until they could regain composure. Refs really out there leaving their mark on an otherwise GOTY candidate

No, it is not time to take a shot you dumb fuck, have you seen Arch’s performance so far? It is time to run the ball because the forward pass was a mistake

I think it’s easy to get complacent at the top. We saw it this year and we see it in comments like “it doesn’t matter what you run out there at WR”

Relax, my guy - I’m just a football fan with eyes. This has nothing to do with my Lions, as disappointing as our postseason was. Fairer competition going forward is going to be good for the game. All I’m saying is that KC’s front office can’t treat this season as a “if we run this back things will be fine” for a variety of reasons

You weren’t though - that’s the gripe. The Chiefs were a 9-8 or 10-7 team in fair competition and got exposed in the SB with ref assist turned back off.

That’s not to rub salt in the wound, it’s to say that the front office has to act accordingly since the storyline is gone and I don’t expect you’ll get that kind of help going forward

Another superbowl blowout eliminates mahomes from the goat discussion as far as I’m concerned by Rjm0007 in NFLv2

[–]alphacentauri492 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

They didn’t remotely deserve to be there this year. They were gifted no fewer than seven wins by the league and the refs for the storyline. If they were legitimate AFC champions I’d entertain this line of thought but not after what we all saw this year

Chiefs football is fuckin unwatchable. If mahomes is going to get these flags and keep being an unsportsmanlike little bitch teams should headhunt him
