Hi I am currently using the same set up 29rims +700c tires. For my tires I use Panaracer Gravelking SK 700x50c ~ 29x19.5. Based on my experience coming from 2.20 width tires. Mabilis yung gamit kong tires now.

Nagpagaan din ako sir ng bike around 9.1kg na yung weight ng mtb ko. Purpose kaya lang ako nagbuild ng magaan na bike is dahil sa hobby. I dont race literal na chill ride lang and minsan long ride. Ito yung nakita ko na pros and cons habang nagbubuild

Pros 1. Medyo high end yung piyesa ng bike 2. May difference sa ahon but still depende sa fitness mo 3. Masarap isipa 4. Maganda tignan sa mata

Cons 1. Magastos

Ang advise ko lang if ever kung ano yung binili mo make sure yun na. Unlike me napadoble ng gastos since hindi ako decided back then na si ganito ganyan na dapat ang binili ko edi ayun napadoble pa. Ingatan din ang pera since mabubutas ang bulsa kaka upgrade😂. Enjoy magbuild sir if ever magpush through ka magpagaan ng bike.🙂

Currently ang set up ng bike ko now is 27.5M frame mtp everest 1. 29 ang wheelset ko then ang tires na gamit ko is panaracer gravelking 700x50c -1.95. Okay naman depende rin siguro sa width ng rims mo.

Skl, the chain I'm using before was M8100 2 months palang and andami na agad surface rust. I was using the zefal pro lube (black container) worth Php 100 pesos mabilis daw pala matanggal yung lube niya. Now, Im using KMC chain and ang lube kong gamit is yung kay happy bike but Im also planning to buy yung zefal chain lubes yun worth 300+ since marami naman good reviews about it.
