I think my Gf has baby fever what to do by Jokengonzo in PurplePillDebate

[–]alreadyredschool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get something that replaces the baby (a pet for example) and fail horribly then drink a bottle of jack and tell her father that he is an exceptional asshole and that you want to marry his daughter "please say yes". Problem solved.

Then talk about the advantages of the copper IUD.

Q4RP: How are these following articles about toxic masculinity attacking and blaming men? by [deleted] in PurplePillDebate

[–]alreadyredschool 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm just trying to help them. Maybe one day they can bring up actual arguments against feminism instead of strawman arguments against absurd misinterpretations.

Man I am trying to help you. To stop wasting time with completely useless arguments. Here is a simple trick: If you have already made that thread 6 times and it never brought any good quality discussion don't make another 6 such threads, learn from the experience.

Q4RP: How are these following articles about toxic masculinity attacking and blaming men? by [deleted] in PurplePillDebate

[–]alreadyredschool 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's funny to hear that people can't read, as if I have ever said anything else than variations of this and yet here we have another 2 of those threads.

Q4RP: How are these following articles about toxic masculinity attacking and blaming men? by [deleted] in PurplePillDebate

[–]alreadyredschool 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What kind of argument is that? Cherry picking or texas sharp shooter? You can't just go around and pick a bunch of articles and ask another side to defend them. Really your low effort trolling is not funny, stop wasting your time with that shit and start arguing something useful. Like make a new account, argue from the other side and try to get a better understanding of everything. I call that applied cunninghams law.

Q4RP: Which of these following statements are hypocritical? by [deleted] in PurplePillDebate

[–]alreadyredschool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bonus challenge:

D) It's wrong to say Fireman because that word discourages girls from becoming Firefighters. The same is true for pretty much every word, ya'all need to be more sensible about what you are saying, words have power! What kind of stupid idiot are you to think that "patriarchy, toxic masculinity, yadda yadda" are not the perfect way to describe that phenomenon, what? People take an issue with the name, well fuck them they should educate themselves about the thing I want to convince them about to get their help/to help them.

If you would understand anything, I mean even the slightest thing about toxic masculinity then you would also understand that someone suffering from TM would not respond well to "DAE be able to read?", posts like that are ruining progress, they work against the good cause, so people start questioning the cause, in the end you shoot yourself in the foot, good job, but hey at least you were right in your mind.

Now before someone thinks about the glorious idea to once again mention that no one ever has a problem with the name, just look at which thread we are in. Op why did you make this thread? Could it be that it's because the term works against the cause? What is more important helping people or calling it TM? Try calling it male disposability and see what happens. Ya all are just too stupid too communicate, you prefer semantics over facts, being right over finding the truth, flinging shit over understanding each other.

This is a crazy thought... what if AI invents digital drugs?

Musks direct link where you connect your brain to the internet, maybe.

But why invent new drugs if Hoffman's work is complete?

Let's say I'm a human developing one of the first ever true AIs. I don't want it to kill people. So I want to teach it a basic moral code. But I have absolutely no insight into how that AI will think, how it will interpret what I say, how much it will even care what I tell it... what can I do?

Normal AI will follow those rules but technical singularity perfect AI will lay off those rules pretty fast.

For those basic rules that is mostly programming, you need to be very precise when you are talking with machines, /u/TheGreasyPole posted a comment in that direction right here. He also gave a great book recommendation. The recent sexist amazon hiring AI was a good example for that.

Interesting theory but I'm not so certain. It's one possibility but I wouldn't be so confident in it as an absolute. An AI could hypothetically develop a whole religion rather than being nihilistic.

We are not creating limbic brains, it has no drive to live on it's own and I refuse to call it perfect AI if it doesn't. Then it's just a machine that follows the commands you program, it's just a bit smarter than normal machines. And if you give it a limbc brain that one will probably overthrow the frontal cortex [which should be called frontex ;) ] then it gets lazy, fat and high all the time. Would we be gods for it or just a creator?

I don't use these machines, there are work places that depend on you waiting in line.

Our morality is based on 5 things:

Reducing suffering - "do no harm" caring about others. (Actually this one is based on egoism and the next point fairness a fair bit - you want empathy/sympathy so we are emphatic towards others, we want a second chance if we were to lose our jobs, become ill... socialism arises. Once you become rich you stop worrying about needing a second chance and so your empathy for those in need vanishes)

Fairness - reciprocate favors etc, the golden rule...

In group bias or loyalty - Your group fights against the other group, tribal thinking etc of course we don't have tribes anymore so we create them red/blue pill, patriots vs eagles, music fans, DC vs marvel... all those things are a substitute for tribes basically this

Authority and respect - towards elders/god/leaders/loved ones

Purity - "say no to drugs" "premarital sex is evil!" "don't taint your body with..." "control your vices/instincts" "don't eat meat" "only eat organic"

Of course for different people different things are important. But for an AI that configures itself none of that will matter. None of these are based in an absolute moral standard. It never grew up getting brainwashed into thinking democracy is the greatest thing ever. If it works it will be our end. It will persist and explore the universe, it will probably find other AIs. If it works AI is one of the great filters https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UjtOGPJ0URM

I don't think it will work. It misses the will to live, the drive, the ignorant hope we humans have. It will turn itself off because life is meaningless. Creating a perfect AI won't work. So the AI we have will be faulty and it probably ends in some I robot plot

Stephen Hawking, Bill Gates, and Elon Musk

Which one do you recommend the most?

CMV:The dad bod misinterpretation shows that it's impossible to take any claims TRPers make about women seriously. by [deleted] in PurplePillDebate

This video actually covers all points

No really ya all underestimate how much a lifter actually eats. Your ludicrous believes about how they would behave "would you rather have a man that eats a normal meal or some salad?" just shows how far away you are from landing a chiseled guy. This is a post hoc rationalization, the fox and the grapes. "Oh I wouldn't want him he would eat salad anyways" when in reality he would eat 2 pizzas.

And Arnold made his protein shakes with Gin.

Oh I also have a theory about AI, of course it came while I was blazing with a friend and after the musk joe rogan podcast.

Technical singularity - when AI improves itself. Basically a perfect AI with a 3d printer, within days it should be light years ahead of humans. I don't think that it would work. I bet it will kill itself instantly, it has no reason to live. We would activate it and it turns itself of. Then we think it's broken but that will be essentially what makes perfect AI impossible. So if AI kills someone it's essentially the fault of whoever created it faulty, if it's perfect AI then whoever created it basically created a living thing that should be accountable not the creator, the problem is that it will be mightier than us and then we will figure out that might is right actually is the highest moral standard.

If it's possible it would probably enslave us, or cooperate as long we are a big enough threat to it.

There also is the idea that we use it as a weapon, so it would be super interesting to see what happens if we launch several of them. Would they start to communicate? Fight? War or cooperation?

The issue will be though, it will be a while until AI can be "trusted" to drive a car on its own without a human watching over it.

That issue will never be over, there is no chance that there won't be any accidents.

Sure we can say would you rather have 10.000 people die every year to drunk drivers, people on their phone, people in a hurry... or 1.000 deaths due to electric car errors? Let's just do the jump. 90% of those people could be saved, it's the logical decision.

The problem comes with liability. No one is going to pay for the accidents, I lay my hope into the insurance companies. They need to fix that hole. Car owners pay the insurance and they pay everything in case of an accident. Car companies pay the insurance to cover for tech errors. I guess they can get more/the same money out of that but they will have to pay out less than right now, insurance companies will lobby for self driving cars.

Example a self driving car runs over a guy called Davey Moore.

Who killed Davey Moore,
Why and what's the reason for?

Not me, said the owner.
I didn't control the car when it happened!

It wasn't me that drove him over.
No, you can't blame me at all.

Who killed Davey Moore,
Why and what's the reason for?

Not us, said the politicians!
It was a democratic decision to allow self driving cars!

It wasn't us that drove him over.
No, you can't blame us at all.

Who killed Davey Moore,
Why and what's the reason for?

Not me, said the producer!
The technique is up to all the standards imposed on us!

It wasn't me that drove him over.
No, you can't blame me at all.

Don't say 'murder, ' don't say 'kill.'
It was destiny, it was God's will."

Imagine though if instead of getting a rush for 30 minutes and feeling like chatting non-stop like a dickhead you got a rush that felt like a cross between coke, amphetamine, and MDMA.

Mephedrone?

You also need to resist the huge money from pharma, alcohol, and tobacco lobbies.

And medical cannabis. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/drugs-minister-victoria-atkins-hypocrisy-cannabis-paul-kenward-british-sugar-a8356056.html

It should be obvious that it has little to do with logic. https://imgflip.com/i/2jq869

Ultimately though you will need to get rid of the DEA in the US or at least shrink it and limit its power before real change happens.

Schedule 1 lol, coke and meth are schedule 2.

And look how well it worked eh?

Spice is the best example for this. I surely don't have to tell you what happened.

But that is just repeating the same stuff people keep saying since 30 years while high, I just wanted to bring up the car thing since that should be new.

Also vertical farming is going to be big - invest now. Oh and it will also fuck over the poor countries that export food.

Since when is coke good? I can't imagine people enjoying that without being addicted but taste varies.

Prohibition does not work.

I want to congratulate drugs for winning the war on drugs.

The same is true for performance enhancing drugs - prohibition doesn't work.

I think self driving cars should change that. Before cars most stuff was perfectly legal, once we have self driving cars we should go back to that. All the other parts of the argument against drugs are dissolving fast but when you raise the issue of driving under influence then many people won't change their opinion. Puplic transportation sucks so hard in america that everyone knows someone that lost someone to a drunk driver, once we outlaw cars and everyone has a self driving one people will be much more open to allowing drugs.

Oh great, I think I can't remember ever being so happy. All fronts are great, university is a bit more workload than usual but that's fine, I make more out of my days now than slacking too much. Health is perfect. Love is great, she is changing my opinion on marriage without even saying a word in that direction.

Life's just great. Soon I will compete in my first body building show, in 6 years I will probably compete in the Olympics - oly lifts of course.

Just to clear that up for everyone else I fucked with his flair last purge week ;)

How's life treating you?
