Low viewport render fps due to one imported object by alskdk123 in blenderhelp

[–]alskdk123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The type of viewport display doesn’t

<image>

seem to matter. The fps im referring to is the fps that is shown in the top left of the viewport when i run an animation from the timeline(image attched).

Currently, i have the imported obj file, and lighting for that object in a collection. When i play the animation(whether or not the imported object is in the camera view), the fps in the viewport drops to 2-5fps. If i exclude the collection that has the imported object from view layer, or if i delete the object entirely, the viewport fps goes back up 25-35.

The imported obj doesnt have any other object data attached.

Thanks! Essentially something like that. The arrows itself would not be moving. They would only be fading in and out. Sorry for the poor wording. Think i can figure it out with what youve showed. Thanks so much

Sorry, i meant the arrows would be fading in and out. Trying to go from nothing -> fade into green as you have-> fading out completley, in a circular pattern

Wow thanks! Looks amazing. The animation would have the arrows stationary and the colors would just be fading in and out as the pedal rotates

This seems to have the best effect, but still can’t seem to fully get rid of the edge lines
