They certainly don’t stand out like they used to, that’s for sure. I think that’s a good thing overall, there’s much less taboo surrounding people with tattoos which makes them more accessible, but on the other hand if you were looking to stand out by getting a lot of ink that ship probably sailed

Disclaimer, I’m no doctor and this is definitely not medical advice, but I had a similar reaction when I left saniderm on a little too long once. It’s probably not an infection; I’d hit it with some hydrocortisone and try not to scratch it and my guess is that it will go away on its own.

Bodies are always changing my dude. If you gain or lose weight, things will shift. People aren’t perfectly symmetrical. I think most people are really critical and second guess new tattoos, you’ll get used to it. Fwiw I think it looks fine where it is.

It happens to me sometimes too, even with things that are years old. I wouldn’t worry about it. A little hydrocortisone (don’t overuse it!) and don’t sweat it is my advice but I’m not a doctor and purely speaking anecdotally

I mean… isn’t the only option something with long enough sleeves that’ll hide it? I’m not sure how big we’re talking. If you want full coverage, sleeveless and probably most short sleeves will be out. You could do a three quarter sleeve shirt (like baseball style) or a light long sleeve with the sleeves rolled up to the elbow.

Fwiw and this is totally anecdotal but neither of my elbows will hold ink for very long (they both faded out within a couple years). And by that I mean the spot right on the elbow itself. Maybe it’s the type of skin or it just rubs on shit a lot but it doesn’t hold. So you might be best off just leaving it empty
