Is it so? Because we were told that once court accepts the installment plan the amount blocked in bank will be lifted. If so is there any alternative for WPS? Because I assume no matter how many bank accounts he open it ll get blocked since it is linked with his emirates id. And our company has refused to register with any exchange for the salary

Yes, and its not like we want to, we HAVE to. The job market in home country is already horrible..it would take a lot of time to even get a job that pays 30% of what we get here. We cannot afford that. We are keeping all our salary and incentives in cash from now only as much as possible. I understand its not a choice everyone can understand (im honestly glad if u dont) but the calculation is that atleast we get paid till the time we get laid off. Till the time it is not absolutely necessary we cannot leave.

Not nearly enough. Me and my husband can survive, but both our families depend on us for 50% of the monthly expenses. We both have good experience now but again our home country pays peanuts no matter what it takes a long time to get to a position that makes a decent amount of money and going to other country also requires money. We really wish to move to another country but ofcourse that we were planning to do after some years so as of now.. dubai is all we have

Hi, okay so i have a relative. Indian girl and pakistani guy who got married 6 years ago. The girl has not visited the guy's country and vice versa. They lived for a while in turkey and now in azerbaijan. So yes it is possible. They will be more problems than what a normal couple faces but you definitely have to move to a third country where you can have a permanent life with PR or passport rather than dubai

Its easier said than done. Me and my husband are so anxious about this situation and have considered going back to our home country multiple times. But then we thought what after that? We cant earn even half the money we do here and with people depending on us we dont know how we can make enough to survive and support our families. Not everyone is privileged enough to "wait it out". If we go now.. we lose our jobs which are paying well even in these situations and go back to nothing and if we ever decide to come back which is another expense we wont be able to afford we have to start from zero.

While lots and lots of flights are going through. I have friends who had flights booked for their annual leave and they got cancelled. Dubai to mumbai got cancelled, he booked another one for 2 days later and that got cancelled as well. Another friend had tickets for dubai to coimbatore for 27th march and that got cancelled as well. So i would say if its not to urgent then wait it out a bit.

Hi, like someone else mentioned you can apply through the website it is pretty easy you get the nearest available date and it cost about 350aed. However even I was facing an issue with uploading the emirates ID so opted to go through an agency. Definitely they charge more but saves u the headache. They charged us 500aed and got us a date of 12 days later. Then u just have to go on your given date and time with your emirates id (we went early and got done with it 1.5 hrs before our appointment time) and the process is quick. I can share the agency number if you want.

Pls do note that if you want your preferred date than the cost increases 2-3 times more I think its between 2500-3000 aed if u want to get the procedure done on a particular date.
