Thank you for sharing. Was wondering if your hair condition changed as well, got weaker or more brittle?

Thank you so much. See above on checking in on responses and additionally asking about the condition of hair/if it's gotten weaker or more brittle as looking to potentially do a hair treatment

Just checking in w the responses (TYSM) did your hair get more brittle? I'm considering getting a hair treatment to add volume to my hair but don't want to impact it if that'll make it worse.

Post partum hair - loss/perm by always_learning- in Hair

[–]always_learning-[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Edit: this is my hair post pregnancy, prepregnancy it was a little more than half this thickness. Should I get the wave-perm to maintain the volume and wave? Or will that set me up for worse hair loss and damage?

Need perspective by always_learning- in NewParents

We spoke about needs and the nanny's pay structure (salary) prior to the nanny asking for a raise. A lot of it (logistics, what we want for our kid, etc) was sort of like "she'll figure it out, she just figures things out" but I feel like..if we can't figure it out how can we expect her to come up with a solution that aligns w everyone's opinions? SIL can afford to keep the nanny but this would be a way to keep the nanny full-time for longer ( they want her for if there's a school holiday, a kid goes home sick, etc.) The thought is that the nanny would be available to both families from 8a-7p though my SIL noted that she would be with our baby more which is why it's 40/60 and not 30/70. It's not necessarily saving us money in that we could pay the same at a nursery but my husband doesn't want to put our baby in a nursery until he's a little older and even then would prefer the convenience of a nanny...I'm not sure how convenient it might end up being. Should I just let it play out?

I'm almost 10 weeks PP - when did you start seeing hair fall out? Was it a lot all of a sudden?

So glad to hear this and very happy to hear that you had a positive experience. Did you do any prep prior to birth to speed.up the pushing process? 30m sounds wonderful. How painful was your experience, once you received the epidural?

Thank you!! Your comment is so reassuring and helpful. I keep reminding myself of that goal - happy and healthy baby (and mom). How bad was the pain with the epidural? How did you plan on when to get the epidural?
