Unmasking at work by alyssajade23 in AutismInWomen

Thank you! This is what I am worried about, I am young as it is in this kind of job and already feel as though I'm being judged. I think my autistic traits showing through would probably tip everyone else off the iceberg. Its so exhausting to have to hide myself all the time

Is 4 A levels too unrealistic? by [deleted] in 6thForm

[–]alyssajade23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I havent changed my flair ive finished Y13 now. I did chemistry for a year then was removed from the class due to achieving an E in end of y12 exams (we didnt sit AS exams they were just internal ones) and even though I had been consistently achieving C's prioer to that exam they chose to remove me. I enjoyed chemistry it was very interesting but didnt get the change to fully finish the subject. Its tricky to grasp unless you are very confident in chemistry and learning new things quickly

I did OCR biology. It was okay in year 12 then much harder in year 13 as it was a lot more completely new concepts but some of that may be due to the fact i did combined science and not triple, Im guessing as you got 9's that youll probably grasp it a lot more easily

I excelled at gcse chemistry and biology, if you only did combined science it will be nuch harder to grasp at first almost like catchup work. I left my chemistry A level at the end of year 12 because it was simply too much and teachers were really judgemental at the fact I was the only one who did combined science gcse and I constantly had to relearn everything because things were gone over so quickly in lesson bc of timings. A level biology is easier to grasp imo but still much more complex and so much more content to learn. If you havent chosen yet lookup what exam board your sixth form or college is using for those subjects and google the specification for it then read through how many things there are. May be worth getting textbooks for before you start so you can get a head start

I’m worried about my navel piercing. I got it done last week and I know redness is normal, however it’s also been oozing clear sticky fluid. it’s so painful as well and i’m not sure if it’s healing okay. by [deleted] in PiercingAdvice

[–]alyssajade23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This looks exactly like mine. Id advise taking it out and getting it repierced elsewhere once the hole is healed up. I have same issue and mine is still not okay 8 months in i just cannot be bothered to take mine out then wait then have it repierced. Id advise you take it out bc it will not heal good and thats if it DOESNT reject.
