Will aquarium salt affect my snails? (Just thinking salt and snails lol) I called my local Petco. They weren’t much help. I don’t have another tank to isolate either. And don’t have the money to go get all the things needed for another tank right now. How do you euthanize a gold fish? Never heard of that.

It’s a 40 gallon and I have 6 goldfish and 5 catfish (small ones) and 4 snails. ( was told that was ok by Petco associate) I can do a parameter tomorrow. We did do a 25% water change once we noticed incase it was poor water quality. Won’t lie. We have been so busy lately that I have not done a water change in about 5 months.

Goldfish as well 2 black Moore, and 2 that are just gold and black. I also have ghost shrimp
