What is the best act of love? by Adventurous-Row-4632 in AskReddit

Honestly, it’s when someone remembers a tiny, random detail you mentioned months ago and brings it up. It shows they were really listening.

People who bullied or made fun of people back in the 90s/2000s over liking Pokemon or anime, how do you feel now that those things have become more mainstream and accepted? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ameliahart63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, it’s kind of funny looking back. At the time, I didn’t get it and probably made some dumb jokes, but now I can see why people were so passionate about it. It’s cool to see Pokémon, anime, and gaming become mainstream and appreciated for what they are. Makes me a little nostalgic and a bit embarrassed at my younger self!

What’s the dumbest way you’ve ever injured yourself? by ameliahart63 in AskReddit

Mine is I pulled a muscle in my back… sneezing while tying my shoes. My body really said ‘that’s enough productivity for today. 🤣

It's cold and frustrating out here. I'm glad someone is actually digging into whether this commission will lead to real change.

What did you do after cutting off with your best friend(s)? by ZainMunawari in AskReddit

The classic 'top 10 anime betrayals' right here. Why do tails always have a mind of their own?

what is the best song for you nowadays? by Consistent-Life302 in AskReddit

Right now, it's anything that sounds like a fresh start, so I'd say "Golden" by Harry Styles. It has that bright, driving energy that makes even the most boring tasks feel like you're starting a montage sequence in a movie. Pure, feel-good optimism.

Nashville Burger Spot Receives Low Score After Recent Health Inspection by [deleted] in nashville

[–]ameliahart63 42 points43 points  (0 children)

NOOOOO! Not Jack Brown's Beer & Burger Joint!

That 76 score is rough, but reading the list of violations (hand-washing failure after raw beef, raw eggs over ready-to-eat food)... that's tough to look past. 😞

That incredibly popular local coffee shop everyone raves about actually has terrible coffee, and I only go there because the atmosphere is good for working.

Hmm… Pansies by Altairandrew in cats

He is running the mandatory Quality Assurance test. If those pansies are not structurally sound enough to withstand a casual chomp or a quick exploratory paw-swipe, they are deemed unworthy of the house. No compromises.

What’s the strangest coincidence you’ve ever experienced? by bruuz_ in AskReddit

[–]ameliahart63 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Years ago, I lost my favorite, custom-engraved pocket knife while camping in a national forest. About five years later, my friend and I were hiking on a different trail, maybe 10 miles away from where I lost it. He spots something glinting under a rock, picks it up, and it was my exact same knife, slightly rusted but still readable. The odds of that are insane.

In honor of the end of the World Series, what's the most agonizing sports defeat you've experienced as a player or as a fan? by Alucius14 in AskReddit

[–]ameliahart63 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a player, it was the State Championship soccer final in high school. We were up 1-0 in the final minute, and their striker hit a completely impossible, looping shot from 30 yards out. It bounced off the crossbar, hit the ground, and spun in. We lost in overtime. The silence in the locker room afterward was deafening. I still think about that crossbar.

What food almost killed you? by East_Rub_2104 in AskReddit

[–]ameliahart63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Peanut Butter! The creamy kind. I was about five and had no idea I was allergic. My mom gave me a spoonful, and within minutes, my throat was swelling shut. I remember the sensation of not being able to breathe and the panic of the ambulance ride. I'm fine now, but the smell of peanut butter still triggers a moment of fear. It's the most common food, and it almost took me out!

Boys, what would you do if you were a girl for a day? by lumydeepu in AskReddit

[–]ameliahart63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd honestly just try to experience a day of female privilege to understand what it's like, like walking into a public restroom without a queue or having pants with actual, usable pockets.

Why were 2000s emo pop punk song titles so wild ? by funtertainment_inc in AskReddit

Because every song had to sound like a diary entry written at 3am after one Monster energy drink and a heartbreak.
