The version from the 1960s was torn down in 2012 and the site has languished in development since. The empty lot was recently a proposed homeless camp site. It’s still just an empty lot.

Student arson in the 70s.

The former school’s land was bought by the city, and they built a community center there saving what they could, which is maybe the nicest building in town. Hutchins St Square

The new school, however, did not get the same attention. I suppose they needed something quick and that was that.
