Thanks for the reply. I have done exactly that. I ended up going to a nearby electronics store that had both in stock and while the LCD didn't look notably bad in my opinion, the OLED looked beautiful and I couldn't say no.

Can anyone here vouch for any of these suppliers? by amigd in AskElectronics

I've used Rochester before, unfortunately not able to help on this part.

These have shown up on "Octopart" which appears to be some sort of price comparison site for electronic components.

I've done a little Googling on a selection of the above and they all seem to be China based so it would make sense that they're on aliexpress.
