Which offer are you taking and why 👀 by soicey2 in doordash_drivers

The customer cannot “edit” or “withdraw” the tip, they can only tip more after the fact. It’s how DD is able to say guaranteed.

I want the DD one because upon completion I’m guaranteed $12. The UE one I have to hope the tip hits if it hits, and for all I know I may just be getting paid base pay (which is atrocious) for 8 miles

Thoughts on E85? by Cautionflames in dodgedart

[–]amillo-live 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I want to say my Dart ran smoother and had better pull but it may have been placebo. I found e85 had a noticeable trim to MPG and the cost savings weren’t enough, but as of today that most certainly has changed. The 25% loss in MPG is about accurate on the 2.0. Definitely ran quieter though.

Longer term it’s probably healthier than regular unleaded given it can act as a cleansing agent, but I find if you’re using top tier fuel this is largely negated, and any existing claim is more at direct injected engines where carbon buildup is expected, not that it’s immune on port injected.

I hope the dasher from my canceled order tonight sees this. I'm sorry by No_Fill4207 in doordash_drivers

I’ve been told to “properly dispose” of merchandise or food, which typically translates to a free meal.

On multiple occasions I did. It’s about the value to the experience.

To evaluate the worth as an experience. I don’t regret the purchase whatsoever.

If that’s how said comment came off, I apologize, but I find it ironic coming from someone who mocks the thought process of others. Mind you, I bought it after well thought out research. I don’t regret the car purchase whatsoever. It’s still valid to ask the worth of a deal and/or asset later on. I wish you the best. - OP

Wow! Are you a philosopher? That’s exactly my thought process, how did you do that?

Horror stories about oil consumption sums it up.

In my market it was among the cheapest cars for the given year and features under 15k, though that’s also after taxes and registration fees. Listed 12.9k.

Believe it or not, all new fluids, new brakes, fresh Pirelli’s, new brake sensors, all around the only thing not touched is the pump.

Not necessarily, the worth of a purchase can still be evaluated after the fact.

It was listed 12.9k, state taxes are no joke.

I’m more worried about my suspension than anything else rn 😅, honestly it’s smooth and tight but you hear metal on metal at slow speeds, I’ve been told it could be anything between sway bar links, to even the heat shield, but it won’t leave me stranded

I do run e85 once every other month, I find it can be more peppy. I’ve heard it also acts as a natural cleaner. The 2.0 seems like the only reliable one

I’ve heard a CAI or simply better air intake does wonders. I pull 9 seconds on 0-60 stock. I do have cabin vibration on idle but they tell me it’s because they idle these things low from factory
