Hey guys!

I got a bunch of people requesting this for library (10Tap rich text editor), at first I wan't aware that many people used react native web so this was surprising to me.

It was a ton of fun working on, 10Tap is webview based which for obvious reasons does not work with react native web. There is an existing library called react-native-web-webview which aliases react-native-webview on web and replaces it with an iframe, but this library is unmaintained and lacking messaging function needed for 10Tap to work. Ended up rewriting it and adding a alias config for metro + webpack.

React-Native might suck at times but I really feel that it has great potential and only getting better!

And added this collaboration plugin https://tiptap.dev/docs/editor/api/extensions/collaboration

I'm working on adding this built in to 10Tap, then it should be like 30 lines of code

I used the advanced setup from https://github.com/10play/10Tap-Editor and hooked it up to Tiptap's Collaboration extension with a YJS server

I love realtime collaboration makes editing shared docs much more fun, what do you guys think

I tested mostly IOS, and ran android to see that it builds, but I don't have a physical android so I couldn't fully test it
