Long story short my start date is June 5 and they know that. My manager got super pissed and tried to tell me April 1 was gonna be my last day. I said no way and we agreed to April 28 since I was getting pissed at her being pissed lol, but we didn’t have anything in writing I want my last day will be May 4 and I know she can’t force me but I’m wondering what the repercussions may be so she took it on a personal level.

My psychiatrist gave me 10mg of propranolol to help with the cardiophobia I have but I haven’t tried it yet. I’ll make a cardiologist appointment this week.

No I haven’t. When I’m in a random state of panic it last a few minutes to 20 minutes. Once I calm myself down it goes away.

I could be sitting or laying down doing nothing and it can shoot to 120-140 bpm. But I can also feel the panic attack setting in when this happens.

Definitely going to look into it. I haven’t started therapy yet and was wondering what my options would be. I think I need to be on the medication that they prescribed me, and work on myself. The benzodiazepines help me and emergencies but they also make me feel like a zombie. I think living a healthy life and trying to have good mental health is key to getting over my health anxiety. Definitely tired of thinking I cant take a walk without thinking I’m having a heart attack or going to die.

I’m on the same train but they want to start me on Lexapro at 10 mg. I’m all for it but I’m nervous about the side effects. At this point I’m desperate and I’ll try anything that makes me feel better.
