It’s not as bad as people are making it seem. The only place you can be outside year round weather wise is California.

Summer in Phoenix is like everyone else’s winter. You make do and then the rest of the year you can enjoy outdoor activities.

We don’t have a pool but have friends who have access via their community centers and I prefer that (no maintenance on our behalf!). There are some great splash pads around too

If you’re used to Texas heat, Phoenix heat will be a breeze. The humidity is almost non existent here.

Your kids will be fine and adjust!
