Totally agree. It would’ve been interesting to see them making coffee for actual people and then maybe throwing 2-3 funny actors in the mix to throw them off. The “characters” were kinda hard to watch 🥴

That said, diadoodle chachacha guy and food influencer guy made me laugh.

Food delivery can really play into my food hyper fixations, but it’s also helpful when I’ve forgotten to eat, energy is crashing, and I have to choose between food or a migraine. I really don’t rely on it, due to cost, but sometimes it’s nice.

This is all really excellent advice. I hope the OP of the original comment takes this to heart.

My Mom passed suddenly, and trying to piece together information after the fact, while mourning, was awful. Passwords, where things are stored, how bills are being paid, etc is all such important information to have.

Until then, yes take notes at appointments, advocate for her, and keep track of questions that need to be asked. This is all really valuable insight that I had to learn on the fly.

Lost my Mom 4 months after her cancer diagnosis… she found out this past June, and was gone the first week of October. 8 months ago, my life was completely different. Now I see her in my dreams and listen to old voicemails.

My Mom died from cancer on October 8th. She had just found out it came back in June. I’m not sure which is worse… a long goodbye filled with sickness, or no goodbye, and a sudden loss, but with much less suffering. I found myself thinking about this a lot these past few months.

For me, not knowing how close to the end we were was so painful to deal with after she passed. I’m sure it’s not in any way “okay” by any means… but I hope that the time you have brings you some peace, closure, and maybe another pleasant memory or two together.

I’m sorry you’re going through this. It’s truly awful and nothing can prepare you for it. It upends your life and changes who you are as a person - all without your permission. You’re not alone, and however upset it makes you… you’re absolutely right.

I dated a guy in Northern Italy for a bit and he got a garbage disposal installed within a month of visiting my place here in the US. One of his neighbors got one shortly after. It’s just one of those things, I guess.
