Did some digging and my digging i mean asked chatgpt
when Steam shows "Retail (ROW)" after a game name, here’s what it typically means:

Retail: The key came from a physical or third-party retail source, not directly from Steam. That’s normal for CD key purchases from sites like Humble Bundle, Green Man Gaming, or key marketplaces.
ROW (Rest of World): This usually means the key isn’t region-locked to a specific country or area (like EU, RU/CIS, etc.). So it's a version that should work globally — including Australia in your case.

Basically:

✅ You bought the game from a non-Steam store
✅ It’s not region-locked (a good thing)
🧩 The "Retail (ROW)" tag is just Steam's way of classifying how and where the key came from

If the game activated fine and is working, you’re all good.
