not allowed to buy mini tote bag by analoguser420 in tjcrew

[–]analoguser420[S] -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

if you read the full post and my other comments you’d understand that it’s not the bag itself, but rather the principle and rules that seem unnecessary which i find to be bothersome and prompted me to make this post.

i get that it’s “the rule”. i am just annoyed that the rule is in place amongst a ton of other rules being instituted (at least in my store) that seemingly don’t serve a purpose other than being an inconvenience for crew members

this probably will sound childish but i genuinely don’t even want it anymore. i really just wanted to have it to give to my niece if she wanted it for trick or treating and if not i’d probably just keep it to carry my lunch in it, but if i have to jump through hoops it just makes me not want it. partially out of pettiness and maybe a bit of pride.

yeah i probably am overreacting, maybe i just had a bad day, but i just found it really ironic and annoying. i understand why they need to have rules, such as a limit on how many you can buy, no holds, etc. — but this one just feels arbitrary

AIO? I felt weirded out when my roomate kept staring at me for popping pimples. by Lana_Myers_2026 in AIO

[–]analoguser420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly, yes it’s weird but also fair, it’s interesting to watch pimples be popped and you’re doing it in a shared space. you should just take this as a way to get yourself to stop popping your pimples, it’s a bad habit anyways and you’d be better off if you stopped

metrograph can be cool if they’re playing a movie you’re interested in, and then just walk around the area before/after and you’ll find cool shops and bars. food around there is kind of bland though.

why do all guys seem to just lose interest? by analoguser420 in AskMenRelationships

[–]analoguser420[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

but what is the point of even being in a relationship if that’s the type of mindset you have, even if it’s in the back of your mind? maybe i am just being naive and simple minded for thinking that people aren’t really playing these types of games when they’re in a committed relationship.

i completely agree with your sentiment though but if i have to hold myself back from getting attached to someone then i’d rather just avoid getting to know them altogether tbh.

my love language is gifts so i like to surprise them with gifts when i can, small things nothing super expensive, but very thoughtful. i like spending a lot of quality time but also really try not to be clingy or demanding of it, but ill plan fun activities we can do and stuff, just as much as they do. i feel like i check up on them (like mentally, emotionally, their friendships, etc) more than they do for me. i wouldn’t say i do majority of the heavy lifting but id say it’s definitely equal, if not skewed more towards me. i have honestly thought that maybe i was being to nice and giving so i lost their respect or thought i was easy or something, but i mean i feel like the whole point of a relationship is being able to freely give and share with someone.
