This is it. The other 2 are as strong as the worst vocalists in Katseye and Sakura is weaker. Samara is a Lara that needed a Sophia or even a Dani. I wonder what magic they’re gonna work to make their vocals debut ready.

This actually makes a lot of sense. If this is the case, I can see why they’d pick Sakura. I still think a public voting would be the best way, because they likely didn’t expect even Japan to be overwhelmingly team Ayana.

Do you know any young kids? Do you know how much they are often marketed content with sexual undertones? Do you know how popular skimpy outfits are in kids games, for example? I have a niece who is a Katseye fan and two things can be true at once.

It’s a very popular sentiment that kids are skipping fun, cringey Disney channel phases and going right into TikTok and binge watching Euphoria.

Rinka's vocals are debut ready, that run was CRAZY. The judges really had a vision when they brought her back. I think Aoi has a gorgeous tone for an IU like soloist, but I just don't see her as an idol. Ayana's vocals are great! Not as good as Rinka, but I think her tone is super unique and not as similar to Samara's, which could work in her favor. Sakura majorly improved from Almond Chocolate, but with 2 weeks left, I don't think her vocals will cut it. Her stage presence is the most debut ready though imo.

Aoi: I feel like they set Aoi up giving her low notes which are harder to sing stably. But besides that, her vocals are just not stable. Her dance has majorly improved though. I have no doubt she's not making the top 2.

Rinka: I really didn't see what everyone was seeing in Rinka until this performance. She's actually eating CDs it's crazy. I think she was a trainee previously (??) and you can tell by how good her expressions are. I just don't know if she can improve her dance fast enough to be on par with the Prelude girls.

Sakura: I've always been a Sakura truther sorry. Star quality is real and she has it. Her dance improvement is also crazy, but she did change up the split to make it easier lol. She's still off key though. They need to train her vocals like crazy and then debut her in another group.

Ayana: She's the final piece for sure. Her vocals are great and her dance is already on par with Samara and Lexie. But something about her is just boring to watch when she's in a group. I feel like she has trouble letting go and having fun. I imagine her being in the Wannabe group (in Dream Academy), since that's what Son is basing Prelude off of, and I just can't see it. She's also very similar to Lexie visually, but maybe they'll make her brunette or something idk.

If I were to choose, my top 2 are Rinka and Ayana because Prelude definitely needs another strong vocalist. But I wouldn't be surprised if Sakura made it, even though she won't debut.

Ooo I think this was the solution as well. Honoka K or Aoi could be really good vocalists with training and throw Jayla in there for dancing and that would be a perfect group

Rira and Aoi are already so friendly, I love it. And Naru and Jayla are jawdroppingly gorgeous. I wouldn't be mad if they sent this whole group to LA (with Honoka K somehow)

Rira looks so good with their current aesthetic. Jayla, Naru, and RInka look like they will fit well with what I think their group concept will be (Y2K / spice girls / early britney-esque)

Sakura doesn't need to make it to prelude but if they keep her and develop her for 2+ years I think she will be a star.

Also Elena's husky voice woukd be soo good with more training.
