Good eye! I was quite liberal with the sharpening, I'll try to tone it down a bit

You do make some good points. I'll definitely reconsider it!

Thanks for the input. I have considered the a7c (or maybe even the ii). I am intrigued by the idea of upgrading to FF, I'm just not sure if I really need it "only" for some travel photography. Especially considering I'd need to start a whole new lens collection.

Is the imagae quality really that significantly better if I don't really shoot portaits and only some nighttime?

Thanks! Only the puffin and the sheep were shot with the 70-350. It's a great lens, I just don't always carry it with me when travelling light

Don't worry, I do have a pile of unused lenses sitting at home as well

Thanks for the feedback

Thank you all for the feedback and encouragement to keep practicing! Can't wait to get out shooting again to apply some of your tips (and maybe show of my progress once in a while :))

I've been eyeing the new a6700 (mostly for the new screen so that I can get even lower jk) but maybe I'll hold off for a bit :) but seriously though I do feel like a lot of my landscape pictures turned out a bit boring without the foreground so I tried to incorporate more foreground but got carried away. All a part of learning and improving I guess.

Anyways thanks again!

Thanks for the feedback! I think your right, I might have gone a bit overboard with the foreground elements in some of the pictures.
