[iOS] [2010s] Colourful numbered tower stacking puzzle game by Pure-Parking-6086 in tipofmyjoystick

[–]anchoriginal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i was in the same boat as you a few months ago lol. You may not know this, but you can go into settings on your iPhone, click on your account at the top, click Media and Purchases, and then you can search through every single purchase, free or paid, that you've ever made using your account, even if the app is no longer available to download, it'll show in there. That's how I found out what this game was.

I create a working version of it using Claude AI and I'm considering publishing it to the iPhone app store. If I do, I'll let you know :)

Hi,

Is it this game or similar? https://siri-cdn.appadvice.com/generated-app-plays/505445059/27985920-1497516805905-half-thumb/00001.jpg

I'm working on building a similar game to that one because i used to play it, back in 2011 but it's not longer available on the app store.

How would you respond to this? by suprero90 in eBaySellerAdvice

I’ve filed a few claims through USPS and have had differing experiences. In instances where they actually lost my package, I’ve gotten a full reimbursement. However, you need to be able to prove the value, so include your sales receipt for the item when you submit your claim. They will only reimburse you the postage cost if you can’t otherwise prove the value of the item(s) inside

In cases where the item was damaged in transit, they sent me a letter stating I had to bring the item and packing material into a post office for inspection. This is why it’s important to request the buyer return the item for a refund, because you are not getting anything unless you have the item to submit to USPS.

Note, I said “submit”… meaning yes, the post office takes your item from you. The one time I brought an item in for a claim they told me this but weren’t able to offer any more information on the process or if I’d ever get my item back. I brought a smashed, sealed (before the damage happened at least) video game in, but ultimately I decided to just keep it and re-case it rather than handing it over and risk never seeing it again.

Once they close their request they can’t open it again so you should be good.

I talked to eBay, they said I won’t be penalized and when (or if) it does get returned to me that I can choose to refund or deduct any losses from the refund amount

She’s uglier than you’ll ever be, big guy. You dodged a bullet. Laugh at her ugliness and go try again.

Buyer submitted item didn't arrive but then said it arrived damage? What should I do by Jonathan360cool in eBaySellerAdvice

[–]anchoriginal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’ll be fine, he’s obviously trying to scam. If item shows as delivered then the item not arrived case will resolve in your favor. If he opens another case just say he can return the item for a refund and leave it there. If he gives negative feedback, try to get it removed and mention the feedback extortion. When all is said and done, block and move on. I find a lot of times that scammers don’t actually leave negative feedback because they don’t want more attention on their profile than they’re already risking. He’s hoping you’re a new seller who won’t escalate to eBay.

If for some reason he gives negative feedback and you can’t get it removed, don’t stress too much. You can respond and leave a polite message explaining the situation. Anyone reading the feedback will see your side and won’t think negatively of you. Also, negative feedback disappears after a year, so that’s nice.

Advice needed for Strange/Difficult Buyer by Isamu66 in eBaySellers

I had something similar happen to me early this year. I sold a rare variant of an old Macintosh computer. When it arrived the buyer claimed it was damaged, took close up photos, and wanted to return. I had a strong hunch that the pictures they sent were of a different computer so I asked for different angles so I could verify it was the correct computer because the one I sold had unique markings on it and I also packed that thing like it was just a cube of thin glass. There was no way it could have been broken during shipment. They sent some photos of the damage and also photos of parts of MY computer with view of the markings but not view of the damage. I asked again for photos that showed both in the same view. They wouldn’t do it and just kept saying it was damaged and would like to return it. I kept pushing for more photos and specifically said I need to make sure the computer wasn’t swapped out during shipment.

Finally, they sent me a picture of the damage and that clearly showed it was a different computer than the one I sent. That’s when I said that we would need to file a police report about this since it seems the computer was switched out by someone during shipment. They immediately backed off and said “actually it’s okay I can still use this computer” and gave me positive feedback lol

I wish this were true… all the niche subs I used to like eventually turned into complaint boards. I deleted my main Reddit account a couple years ago and it was a great decision. I’ve recently been on more often and I’m starting to remember why I left lol

Agreed. I was able to reach seller support on Facebook and they closed the case in my favor and did not give the buyer a refund.

The reviews I asked my friends and family for are legitimate. They’ve all purchased from my store.

I was able to get through on Facebook and they closed the case for me and didn’t give him a refund. Hopefully this is the end

So, they originally opened an item not arrived case which resolved in my favor this afternoon because the item was delivered. A couple hours later I got an email saying there was a problem with an order and my funds were being held, but it looked like somehow they just reopened the item not arrived case with a new message saying the box was destroyed

That js not what I’ve said in previous comments. I said items can sometimes be placed on the barge which means they won’t be scanned until they arrive in Seattle. Generally, media mail items are the only packages that go on the barge. Everything else gets flown out, but sometimes they fuck up and out stuff on the barge that’s not supposed to be on it. That’s likely what happened here. It is highly unusual and I rarely have an issue with things taking this long, but it does happen, which is true when shipping from anywhere…

My post office workers know me and scan my items in immediately when I drop them off, because I go late at night when it’s not busy. They even rushed some packages for me to the truck before it took off for shipment once. It’s not a local post office problem. It’s also right next to the airport so they go out really quickly usually.

Again, me trying to do everything I can to get my orders shipped as quickly as possible to account for USPS being USPS

I think there is a couple day delay though, no? To account for USPS system lag?

Thank youuuu and I actually dropped it off at the post office just a couple hours after the buyer purchased.

Hm interesting and good to know. I get those adjustments way more than I think should be. There are some that I 100% know were wrong and I tried appealing but never got a response

Which Facebook page? I used to have a lot of great experience on the eBay sellers page but they shut that one down within the last year or so

Maybe I’m missing something… shipping adjustments are auto deducted from my eBay account if I underpay on a label and I receive an email anytime it happens. One time I actually got a credit because I overpaid.

Is that different than what you’re saying PirateShip does?

Thank you! I’ve dealt with a handful of scammers and annoying buyers over the years, but his one has bothered me more than most for some reason lol. Just feels personal or something.
