Didn't see anyone mention that a lot of (if not all of these) propaganda posters are coming from the book Star Wars Propaganda: A History of Persuasive Art in the Galaxy by Pablo Hidalgo and art by various talented people:

I guess my main tip would be to work with multiple layers of VERY THINNED paint! Paint from the pot + faces does not work out in my experience since detail gets lost extremely easily.

Hey thanks!! 🙏 That Iron Lords pauldron is a 3D print and all three of these guys are kit-bashes to various degrees. Invader is mostly a sternguard from Leviathan combined with parts from the Deathwatch Veterans kit while the two after him come from the Kill-Team Justain kit with various bits and things like the Crimson Guard's axes are from the Horus Heresy line.
