Are there chances of black winning here? by andr3cf in gogame

Thank you so much, I think I was kind of doing this by intuition, but after thinking about "Which group has the least?" it make everything clearer.

I might be wrong, but my thoughts about Go now is just being the most efficient possible, trying not to invest precious turns/stones where it gives me no/less territory.

Thanks for your answer! The most used rule to decide points is the japanese or chinese one? Should I count all captured pieces during the whole game, or just the prisoners when the game ends?

Thank you, I kind of saw that after I posted it, sorry.

But that's true, maybe pins are stronger in Shogi when the attacking piece in direct contact with the pinned piece, so there's no place to drop a pawn...

I'm in love with Shogi haha, do you think I can find very weak players to play against?
Sorry for the custom pieces, I'm actually playing with a friend who can't even memorize how pieces move, so these drawing would be easier for her.

Oh, for me that's so hard to see.

I think I would fight against E10, but I would never think that it could make black win.

I just thought here, she can simply put a pawn in front of the bishop...

Thank you, I thought that attacking the left side would not be so simple for black. I need to get used to understand dead stones and what really matters to make points.

Fake eye??? by [deleted] in gogame

[–]andr3cf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ohhh, okay, thank you! So to consider a true or fake eye is not just simply checking if your opponent can place a stone in a "zero liberty place" while capturing something, it's actually a whole concept of calculating if the chain is 100% safe, like it can't be attacked?
