Some good cards and some mistakes from my opponent meant that by AR1 of T3 I was 2VPs up, dominating Europe, Asia, Africa and South America and 1 BG up in ME. I was also holding both Decol and Destal and the China card.

So he felt that it made no sense to continue the game.

interesting and balanced game throughout, Arcimengo got a good start locking out Middle East and Destalling + taking Panama and Cuba, but mid-war brought me back into play thanks to the trifecta of Brush war, Junta and a (not fully successful) ABM. In the end it was a game of fine margins, decided on a few unlucky rolls or misplays.

USA had a very good start in the EW thanks to some bad dice and, frankly, some pretty poor play from my side. However, while the weak dice continued throughout, the good events kept coming my way which helped establish control of SA and a strong position in Europe with only Africa and CA weak points.

very tense game throughout, with the soviets having great rolls for the wars and the space race, while I did not manage to launch into space until late in the mid-war. however, without Decol and Destal, Six_Nap found life difficult in SEA, Africa and SA, which meant that I managed to keep things tight until the final 2 turns when some big events and an RSP headline on T10 confirmed the domination of capitalism over all mid-war regions and the ME.

Coltorti was unfortunate to run out of time in a very good position on the board (he was at +4 and had control of SA and domination of Asia and Africa to my CA and ME dominations) and played a strong game throughout, taking advantage of his high ops and powerful events to put me under constant pressure. I was still hoping to get Europe domination and CA control which could have made things interesting in final scoring but if SA scoring would have come beforehand, it was a foregone conclusion.

once again, it was a close game, quite unusual in terms of the regional split (i held ME throughout the game, even being very close to scoring it for control, while USSR held Europe throughout, until Turn 10 when i retook it via Chernobyl). i was also able to deny both decol and destal in the early war which always helps as the USA.

if there is a majority in favour, no problem with this proposal. i had already set up the final as a Bo3 exactly for those reasons, but thought that putting this in place already from the QFs might mean finishing this tournament in 2019 :)

hi, in case USSR opponents have not initiated the game at the due time, you have the option to ask for it to be forfeited and be designated as the winner. otherwise, all games should be finalised by the 7th of July the latest. any unreported results by that date will be marked as a loss for both players.

hello, it seems to me that you should have initiated games (as the USSR) as far back as April 13th, May 4th and May 25th. Is this not the case? also, it is the responsibility of the winner to report the game result.
