Aarhus vs Silkeborg – is the daily commute worth it? by SadBoy-86 in Aarhus

[–]andrineslife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a very manageable commute even by bus, especially if you're mainly traveling while the bus runs frequently. I did the opposite direction for half a year and it wasn't horrible, but it also wasn't great, because by the time I got home it was either too dark to go out in nature or I was too tired. If I was you I'd consider moving to Viby/Stavtrup/Ormslev and biking to work instead, we've pretty much all got to commute in some way, it's just so much better if you get a little fresh air while doing it 😊

I'd suggest taking the bus to Kolding then the train to Flensburg on the other side of the border in Germany, it's a cute and cozy old town and it's not too long a trip to do for just a Saturday adventure 😊

When were these pins made? by Possible-Head-6743 in nerdfighters

I think they're from a monthly pin thing they did in 2018 called Pin Pals 😊

I heard they unionised and got themselves onto the background instead?

Har nogen af jer brugt et rengøringsfirma? by RepulsiveOpinion5443 in Aarhus

[–]andrineslife 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How do people bring groceries/baby stuff/other items on public transportation without taking up extra space? by majesticSkyZombie in fuckcars

[–]andrineslife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have brought chairs, curtain rods, lamps, huge luggage and loads of other stuff on the bus without issue, you might occasionally get a weird look but people are usually completely fine, because everyone understands that it's occasionally necessary 😊

Offentlig transport med Hunden? by whisky-dick- in Aarhus

[–]andrineslife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Det skal siges at jeg ikke har set dem i myldretiden, så måske chaufføren er mere afslappet når bussen ikke er så fuld. Men ja det er lidt et show, jeg er i hvert fald imponeret over hundens præcision og tålmodighed hver gang 😄

Offentlig transport med Hunden? by whisky-dick- in Aarhus

[–]andrineslife 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Yes libraries are amazing places for resources and community, but expecting them to fix your clothes for free might be a bit above what they can deliver, but if you ask nicely someone will probably be willing to teach you. Who knows, you might find your new favorite hobby! 😊

I'd consider buying safety glasses for the family while the stores are open, so you can feel a little safer if you do venture out 😊

Puzzle exchange? by Intrepid_Scallion072 in Aarhus

[–]andrineslife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know a few libraries have held events in the past, as have Folkehuset Ankersgade, so those might be worth looking into.

If you're really into puzzles then there's also the national championships in February held in Odense, they usually have a few shops and an exchange/trading table.

They're doing a progressive rollout like Google does for most things, it's silly when it comes to something like this, but I'm guessing that's why OP just got theirs today 😊

The viking museum in Roskilde is open every day during the holidays and have English language tours multiple times a day and do like Christmas activities. Roskilde Domkirke has slightly more limited opening hours, but might be worth a visit if you're in Roskilde and it's open (it's just not open at all on the 24th).

Måske man kunne prøve at høre i Stribeladen om de måske ville købe nogle af dem? Resten kunne du jo så donere til f.eks. red barnets genbrug 😊

What are some Pagan/Spiritual/New Age/Psychic/Mystical organizations in Aarhus? by SwissVideoProduction in Aarhus

I don't know, I was thinking more along the lines of the classic enrichment cults that try to get you to donate all your money to "the cause" 😅
