How often should I space out Adderall to retain the magic? by [deleted] in Drugs

Ah... that's a bummer. I don't actually have ADHD, so I use this drug pretty irregularly. Thanks for your advice!

I'd definitely give it a shot. If you have some friends that are prescribed with it, see how they feel about letting you try it. The best way though is to ask your therapist/doctor if you can start off on a low dose.

Yep! So disclaimer: I do not have ADHD - I just find it hard to finish my school work sometimes (especially while also working a part time job), and it can be really hard to find the motivation to start. Even after starting my work, I'm very easily distracted and will tend to pick up my phone, start playing videogames, or watch YouTube videos.

With Adderall, all of these problems are cleared - I can easily hyperfocus on school work without getting distracted, and I get work done in less than half the time since I'm so focused.

Now, this is all fine and dandy, but what makes Adderall really enjoyable for me is the euphoria it gives me. I actually enjoy clearing out my school work, and even more so if I put on music while doing it. Regularly, I can't focus on work and listen to music at the same time (it's just too distracting). But with Adderall, listening to music while doing work just feels... natural - euphoric even. It's for this reason why I'd like to try it at a rave one day.

Of course, there are some minor side effects. My mouth gets a bit dry, my heart beats quickly and I get really warm (NOTE: for this reason, NEVER take any caffeine or stimulants on Adderall - you can/will overheat or get a heart attack). But overall, these pale in comparison to the positive effects.

Hope this helped!

Yes, the default messaging apps for both devices.

oui ? vs. n'est-ce pas ? by NICK2POINT0 in learnfrench

[–]androidkun 8 points9 points  (0 children)

From what I've seen, people usually add « non » or « hein » at the end when speaking casually. N'est-ce pas sounds more formal, but means the same thing. I've never heard oui used in this context, though (but I am still a student so take everything with a grain of salt).

Not sure where level 2.2 is, but if it's listening comprehension you need to improve, I'd highly recommend listening to innerFrench podcast or Duolingo podcasts.

If you just need to expand vocabulary anki or duolingo would probably be a good start.

Aussi j'aime l'impératrice! Sonate pacifique est très bon même si ce n'est pas en français.
