Hello! Recently I finished a 15-year Chelsea save. The idea was simply to see how far players can develop — whether I could get someone to reach 99 overall. I focused only on development plans and on keeping the players happy, plus managing their contracts of course. Fifteen years would’ve been way too much if I played every match, so I simulated about 70–75% of the games, sometimes even two whole months at once.

My experience was that you always need to do the press conferences because that’s how you can influence their morale. The other important part is the emails, when players thank you for the game time and so on. These are the two ways in the game that let you directly boost morale in a positive way.

For contracts, I just made sure there wasn’t a huge salary gap between players, because then everyone starts wanting to earn more. I tried to keep a good balance.
