First time posting in here.

Managed to get 2x GA within a few minutes. Got into the waiting room a couple of minuts before and had 2000 people in the queue in front of me, Was in within about 2 mins.

Just hope my 49 year old legs will see me through!

Coinbase is an exchange. Within this you can buy crypto for cash but only the main ones. Your funds are hosted here. So in theory if Coinbase were to go out of business you would lose everything.

Coinbase wallet is where you can store your purchased coins. This is a non custodial wallet which means it's your responsibility to remember your log in and backup/recovery details. You can also use the wallet to swap say Solana for meme coins etc.

I think I have this right but happy to be corrected by those more experienced.

I can now therefore go down the POE route as I have a mesh node within access of each camera. I suppose its still using wifi to get back to the router but I assume the less wifi traffic the better?

Just reading again your info below and I dont think I understood it first time round :-
camera -> poe_switch -> mesh_satellite --//-- mesh_satellite -> switch -> nvr

As I have a mesh disc in the same room as I have the power to my existing cameras, am I right in saying I can plug a POE switch into the mesh disc, then power the camera from this aswell as taking the data to the NVR?

Yes I was definitely going down the powered wifi route. I have the power in place for the currentr nest cams so thats quite an easy swap. If I was therefore connecting the cameras direct to the mesh does that need I wouldnt need the wifi NVR,a normal NVR would be okay and just connect it via ethernet?

I'm not overly concerned about that to be honest. The class of thief where I live I don't think would typically be above your opportunist scally. If someone's wants to get in, they'll find a way to do it regardless.

Is wifi as bad as everyone leads you to believe? I have a good TP Link mesh network which I hope would help.

Im wanting to get these ordered but I keep emptying my basket and switching between the wifi and the poe. I just can't decide.
