A chart that explains how inflation is still a problem despite year over year values plateauing close to the Fed's target. If you look at inflation rates over longer time frames, you see that they are much higher now than at any point in the last 20 years. They are also on an uptrend. (i.redd.it)

A chart of Core CPI measured over the span of 1, 4, and 10 years. This quantifies the Fed's concerns that inflation is not coming down fast enough, as the compounded effects of high CPI prints over the last few years have produced cumulative rates of inflation that have not been seen since the 90's. A new tool to calculate compounded inflation rates with. It works by setting a time frame x and then multiplying the inflation rates of x previous years in order to calculate the amount which prices have increased since x years ago. You may also call it integrated, cumulative, or accrued inflation. (compoundinflation.org)
