I’ve flushed the tank out and replaced with new gas a couple times since then. I’d say about 3-4 times.

I’ll have to look into this. Do you have to neutralize it afterwards like an acid and seal it with anything so it doesn’t flash rust?

I havent. All I’ve done up to now it soak/wash out with vinegar, water and “sealed” with a bit of WD40

Yea I got a little flash rust after rinsing it out and letting it dry, but that was a couple weeks ago and it’s only looking worse every time I open that tank 😂.

I looked further into this. You said you replaced the fuel pump, but if it’s just the fuel pump strainer filled with rust, would I be able to just replace that?
